You asked specifically about Deadpool and why people continue to talk highly about it. Rather than the Batman vs Superman thread devolve into a Deadpool review thread I moved it here. Not seeing the problem.

Director wanted to go all big budget and flashy but Reynolds said no
 
Probably the best here flick since Guardians of the Galaxy.

Avengers and X-men are so bad these days. Big budget and lots of characters don't equal a good movie.

X-men Apocalypse sucked. I don't even know what Magneto was doing at the end. Just hovering. Such a waste of talented actors.

Reynolds just looked like he was having fun. Scared to see a sequel. Would be afraid it would start sucking too.
 
I think the strength of Deadpool was in the writing. Hopefully they'll keep that group mostly intact.

Id like to see a captain america, 2005 human torch, carter slade, 2003 hulk thunderbolt Ross, thanos, cable, betty ross, spiderman karen, deadpool, hannibal king, heimdall and whatever that character idris played in ghost rider spirit of vengeance crossover
