No. I think he's talking the PS5 auto HDR, but I think it only works with certain TVs.
Yup, that's what I was referring to. The PS5 has the option to always output in HDR and its a blessing for this game that for some reason isn't mastered in HDR.

I don't remember if the Xbox has a similar feature but if it does and you're playing this on that platform I recommend turning it on. It makes the game look so much better especially at night.

No, the auto HDR for Xbox has to be implemented via the software. If there isn't a true HDR patch incoming for DL2 hopefully they can enable an auto HDR solution for the Series X. Even the original Dying Light has auto HDR now on Xbox.

This is going to be one of those games that's infinitely better a year after launch. Clearly the first game having a healthy player count for years is probably why they packed so much stuff into this game.

Also, I still haven't made it to the first water tower mission. Felt like I've done 10 main missions already. The most annoying thing is finding inhibitors. If the game tells me one is nearby then it should point out a search area or something.

It does tell you where the inhibitors are. Bottom left of the screen a proximity detection will pop up once you hear the message that one is close by. Just reduce that down to about 10 meters and scan the area to see exactly where it is at.

This game is so f***ing awesome, shame on gaming media for giving low scores and s***ting on things like story (and give Zelda Botw 10/10 without mentioning the über s***ty story and voice acting).

The vast majority of reviews were based on the game without the Day 1 patch. If you liked the original Dying Light, this is a better version.

I must have missed something because I can't figure out how to repair weapons. :(

I haven't either. I think either it is unlocked later in the game or you just have to cycle through weapons like a madman.
After a quick google search it seems you can't repair weapons, not fully. The article I read advises that the player wait to mod a weapon until its durability goes down a bit, then mod the weapon which adds some durability back. It also spoke of an accessory and mod that can be found to increase weapon durability. Phew, I thought I missed a tutorial or something.

You repair weapons by adding mods. Don't add any mods until you're down to about 70% durability. When you click on a mod to add, you will be shown how much it will be repaired by. There is no way to indefinitely repair a weapon. This is deliberate as well. You will be finding weapons every where - and good ones as well. What I recommend doing is putting the Durability mod on first when you repair. I have that mod up to 75% percent now and weapons last ages. I actually need to keep an eye on the damage level because I've accidentally gone into an area where a plain grey weapon I wasn't using was a way higher damage level than some gold fully modded weapon I had.

Remember to keep checking back at vendors (especially the one at fish eye and bazaar) as they sell gold weapons and armor and rotate stock every day.

There would be no homosexual acts but you would get choked out.

Cool fan made music video. Shows some parts of the second area of the game and parkour abilities you unlock later.

Got to the second part of the map this past weekend and that's apparently where all the glitches were hiding.

Characters disappearing while I'm in conversation with them. Mouths not moving and/or not doing their animation even though you can hear the sound of the thing they're supposed to be doing such as a piece of paper being torn into multiple pieces.

Other than that, I'm still having a blast. I've been dumping almost all of my inhibitors into stamina. The hang glider is a godsend.

Skipped this one for now but was a huge fan of the first, getting it when things calm down(Horizon,Elden Ring,Elex II,AC Ragnarok)

I finished the main story. I will say when you're given the option to make a decision within a certain time, pause the game and think it through cause it will affect the ending.
Outside of the bugs, I did have fun playing the game. In fact, I'm thinking of going through it again and changing some of my past decisions.

I've been giving all the water and electricity to the survivors. My second playthrough will be for the peacekeepers once they patch in new game plus.

My save file says I'm 21hrs. into this game and it doesn't feel like I've put in that much time because I'm having so much fun. I've been putting off the main mission I think opens up another open area. I believe I've done all activities and explored almost every building in the first area so I supposed its time I move on.

This game is not perfect on PS5. I've experienced a few crashes and other glitches or bugs but nothing game breaking. There are a lot of buildings to explore, I wouldn't say its a copy & paste effort but the internal structures are very similar to each other. But the atmosphere and tension make exploring for loot a lot of fun.

I'm going Peacekeepers all the way on this playthrough. I want their weapons and traps, muahahahaha.
