LOL I will get this sometime soon and give my thoughts. Just such an enormous backlog to get through.
So I walk into an EBGames(yeah we still call them that also in Canada) and it looks like they have daily sales now and I see Elex,brand new,for 29.99(wich is not bad up here),so I bought it for the X...I think the patch that was out for PS4 a few weeks ago is not out for the XBox yet but I dont plan on playing it right away anyway so I will wait for the patch for less jank(although sometimes it adds some 
)

I’m about 15 hours in. FO4 meets Dragon Age meets short dev times. Still very enjoyable, but quirky. Combat is terrible.
Sounds like a sequel is coming

First one was great. I'll be getting this one at some point.
Gameplay looks decent, but can they not use mugshots as reference for character designs.
I loved the first one and this sounds like more of the same.
My unpopular take is that the first Elex is very janky, but also very fun. It is open world action RPG with different factions, but what really set it apart for me was that it gives you a jetpack right off the bat. You can't just fly anywhere all the time, but what it does is give you a level of vertical freedom that many RPGs don't allow.
It is definitely worth $15 if you go in with low expectations in terms of presentation and overall refinement - it is still lots of fun if you accept it as it is.
Edit: Side note that you'll see some 4/10 and 5/10 ratings from fairly large reviewers calling it "broken", yet these same guys gave Cyberpunk 7's and 8's at release. It definitely is not a broken game, at least from my experience.
