Remake part 1 came out in 2020. So if it's winter 2023 then 3 years for part which isn't too bad at all.
Console release was April 2020. Epic store on PC was December 2021. Steam getting it June 17, 2022.
Looks like they enhanced the engine even more. Still looks better than 90% of the games out right now including Redfall, newest next gen only Xbox game

Making a point still looks really good, even better than Xbox's (their main competitor) newest next gen only title which says a lot.

Some devs are just more talented I guess in the visuals dept.
Personally Iove the way FF7 remake looks.
