Back on topic, Xbox coming in second this generation doesn’t impact me as a gamer, and I am not a shareholder. Competition is clearly the driving force of the Xbox division now (and profits of course). They are checking off as many boxes as they can to appeal to most gamers. They learned from their TV TV TV mistake along with bundling Kinect. Now it’s like all they are focused on is games games games and putting them out there for as many gamers that they can. More devices, more power, more games, more cloud.

I think MS should do well going to gen 9 as long as they keep this up and don’t come in over priced for the average consumer like they did in 2013.
