The building is what is terrible about this game. It is more annoying than fun.The kids love it though. I’ll stick to the grown up MP shooters. Don’t need Minecraft in my shooter.

Video has been posted, & I made my comments. People like him is half the problem of the internet, making arguments base on speculation of "evil" intent, & attack people base on these speculative claims. Speculation is almost 90% bias. The basic is if a person X do or said A, they do not make an argument base on action/speech A, they base their argument of (often evil) intend of A.
The 2nd half of the problem of the internet is people who blindly believe these people, either because they said what they want to hear (which is the most cases), or too lazy to think or research.
I have been subject to these false claims. One is absolutely dubious. I was being friendly in another forum, & I say hi to every new member joining the forum.
Then this person attacked me. He said he noticed I was very friendly, & it was "Obvious" I was pretending to be friendly, so I can become a mod of special member of the forum, & spend like a paragraph saying how he despite people like me, who pretend to be nice to people for personal gain etc.
Anyway, back to Jimquistion.
He attacks Epic, claiming it's all about money, aka speculation. If he had said, it could be just money & we should be wary, that would be fair. But he made it like it was a fact & viciously attack Epic. Later in the video said he doesn't care if Epic charges less royalty to developers as its not his fight. The same person that made a video complaining about studio mistreat workers, making you wonder if he actually cares or it makes good click count on his channel.
By the way, if people ever want to see a shining example of bias in the way some companies are treated differently, look no further than Apple.

If I wasn't so entrenched in the Apple system with purchased apps, etc. I would have made the change to Android long ago.

My oldest son who has lived, breathed, and ate Fortnite for the last couple years has recently lost interest in the game. Some of my buddies that were also huge Fortnite fans also left the game this year. They said after the new map hit they lost also list interest. Everyone now on my FL that played this and PUBG have all went to Warzone.

I returned to Fortnite this evening & play with my online Fortnite friends, after buying the Last laugh pack. I am a sucker for all things superheroes so I can't resist. No matter what you think about Fortnite, Epic has one of the best talents when it comes to character design.
It's still the best game in the world. I am super rusty but still manage a Victory Royale, & more top 5.
They continue with adding more cool stuff. Now there are NPC that can give you bounties or quest. Many new zone each represent legendary hunters (from the battle pass) include the Mandalorian from star war TV series.

This is why Fortnite is one of the greatest games ever. This is one of the greatest gaming moments in history.
The only shame is that I did not participate in this LIVE. Friends I asked who attend all said they have their minds blown.
Its not just the LIVE event, but the build-up that took a season. Big-name Marvel Superheroes & villains came to the island in anticipation for a major event, with the island shaping to the finale each week.

I think Fornite being cartoony & popular among kids undermined that Fortnite has the highest skill cap of any shooter by a mile. The difference between a good player & a noob is day & night.
The type of skill cap/gap more associated with a competitive fighting game.

and all that “skill” s*** when it comes to this game is laughable. It’s one of the easiest BR games out there. The building is annoying not hard. When I did play with my son we never had trouble racking up kills and getting to the final couple people and 50/50 getting the win.
Stop boosting this game up. Yes the devs do support this game well and yess it runs great, but adults should feel ashamed of themselves playing this game unless they playing with their kid. It’s like an adult going down to the local park and running through the play area stiff arming kids.

The game has skillbase matchmaking, & bots to be beginner friendly.
If you do not need to build to be able to rack up kill, you are at the very basic matchmaking. The difficulties crank up as you get better.
Saying the building is not hard, show you barely stratching the surface of the game. Its not a criticsim, its just info.
Its okay you dislike the game, or think it is a kid game, but to claimed its is easy (Even CSGO Shroud said Fortnite has the highest skill ceiling of any shooter), clearly you barely pay with the better players.
Fortnite fanboys are the most annoying fanboys on the internet. It’s a Minecraft shooter that caters to kids across the world. Skill my ass. I’ve played with my friends that played it daily and they racked up the wins and I still held my own.
