Forum Tweaks.....

Plain, not sure how you are funding this site. But thanks for taking the time to set it up. If you ever go subscription based, I would indeed pay my fair share.

Keep up the great work. I am glad we will live on as TXB as the original TXB slowly fades away....

Plainview, thanks again for the awesome tweaks.

One minor request. Is there a way to darken the numbering of pages per post for the mid-tone themes?

I know you're busy and it might have already been on your "to do" list, but I thought I'd mention it.

Yeah, I was about to point that out. Hard to see the numbers. Once it's fixed, then it's 100% perfect for me. :D

Not sure that this was mentioned but I would like to see the thread title somewhere once I open the thread. or am i just silly stupid, Stupid?

That was one feature I really enjoyed at TXB. Could always do it yourself though :)

There are add ons I believe but I want to keep the add on priority to important stuff and don't want to bog down the server. I'll look into it again when we're really up and running.

Performance and reliability should be priority one for sure.

Why do we Xboxers have to go to the PS forum to discuss multiplatform titles? It would be nice to be able to discuss multiplats in the Xbox forum as well.

I think that would essentially mean all of the platforms need to go under one forum. Planview did that and a lot of people didn't like it. Can't have everything :really:

Yeah, but why cant multiplats be discussed in both forums? I don't care anything about reading the latest PS4 news when all I want to do is discuss an X1 multiplat title.

I'm not a mod so I don't know how strict they are on the whole talking about an Xbox title that is also a PS title in the Xbox section. I wouldn't think it would be that big of an offense, but then again I'm not a mod.

The way it is now, we're supposed to move it, if it's multiplatform. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with multiplatforms being discussed in either forum. That was the way it was at TXB, iirc -- multiplatforms got discussed wherever the thread popped up, and sometimes you'd have two threads on the same game in either forum. I think the multiplatform idea is designed to minimize that sort of duplication. However, I think if all the multiplatforms are always in the "PS" section, it does give the appearance of favoring one forum over another. The Xbox guys always have to travel to the "other side of the tracks" to view threads about their games. I can see where that can disgruntle.

Personally, I always just hit "New Posts," so I don't segregate my reading based on forum. I like scanning all the topics, and I'll usually find something of interest to read on both sides.

Imo, the best options would be either a separate MP forum or elimination of the MP designation and return to how it was at TXB, with MP titles being discussed wherever the thread happened to be created (and sometimes in both forums). I would prefer the latter, since constantly monitoring for which threads belong in a separate MP forum and moving them sounds like a hassle, and it would probably leave the PS forum pretty bereft.

The mods are discussing how to handle multiplatform titles. There are a few ideas were talking about and we'll try to figure out what is best for the forums.

Is what I was saying even possible? Can we have threads tied to multiple sub-forums so that a multiplatform thread can appear in Xbox and PS forums?
