Finally. I've only been asking him to do it for months.

I wanted to but i knew if i was going to do it, i had to do it right. I can't have a Wii U avatar tarnish my rep. Just kidding. :D

I even have a PC Master Race one picked out for a rainy day. Don't know if i can bring myself to do it though.

We can argue all day long about who has better games or Indies and all consoles will have good games to play this holiday but when it comes to attracting the ppl who haven't jumped into new gen its going to be hard to beat Xbox one with These heavy hitters;

Halo, Tomb Raider, Forza and Fable. These games are muliti million sellers.

Bloodborne will likely get goty unlike the above mentioned XBO exclusives.
Anybody wanna bet that no exclusive on XBO outscores BB in 2015?

TR will be better on the other platforms after the exclusive window runs out.
Fable Legends is F2P and have you played it?
If not play it before putting it in your list.

Your PS4 list is naked missing some gems.

GOTY barely breaking 1.3 million lol. Just goes to show sony exclusives don't really appeal to many people anymore.

MS has variety. Instead of 1 game that scored high and is a low seller, MS will be happy with 3+ games that will score within 2-3 measly points and crush Bloodbornes sales. A polished racer, a polished adventure game, and a polished fps, all AAA games.

AAA variety IS a games lineup list, it would be different if bloodborne was some system seller must have, but its not and the sales show it. Great game, very low interest.

If this was a scores thread, lets just add up all the AAA games scores then, that's basically what you are doing.

wwaaaa baaaaa waaaaa baaaaa are we comparing its sales or it as apart of a lineup?

I say None of those titles are on the level of Bloodborne.
Bet me?

Is this a scores thread or games lineup thread? I don't see scores in the title of this thread. Bloodbourne is 1 game, a game no one really played apparently compared to other big name games.

On topic of games lineup, where is sony's big FPS, Exclusive Racer, exploration game like UC4?

Are you kidding me? How are we to compare lineups by sales?
We compare by the PRAISE a game gets no Xbox One exclusive out of the list of rehashes coming is as good as Bloodborne PERIOD.

Can I use your time machine, please.

Variety. That's how you compare a lineup. Not one game with little interest.

I thought halo 5 pissed off a lot of old time fans because it was so different? bloodborne is far more of a rehash than halo 5, just because its really good doesn't mean its groundbreaking as you would love for us to believe. Its not at all. Halo has changed its gameplay FAR more from halo 4-5 than Dark Souls-Bloodborne.

No one has played the new TR or Forza yet, so yeah I agree with Menace, I want a time machine, but I think your hope for these games failing is too strong for you to understand these games haven't even came out yet. lol. And lets be clear, you WANT them to score under bloodborne just for that reason, that's how serious this is for you. 1-2 points under bloodborne and that means you can throw a party I guess.

Idk, I'd rather have 3 very different games with high scores right beneath bloodborne, that's variety. Not to mention again, the game is niche, not a system seller.

I would rather just have good games. I really couldn't care less what they score compared to another game. Not sure why Val does either, one of his favourites games so far(Destiny) didn't exactly set the score system on fire.

This thread, to me, is more about discussing personal preference, and not trying to claim this game or that superior based on some nothing number. I don't need other people to tell me what is or is not a good game. I have a brain, eyes, and the ability to think for myself. So, I will make up my own damn mind.

So far, witcher 3 is the overwhelmingly favorite for goty. Any game that can beat witcher will be game not yet release. Blood borne could have a shot if it is not released same year as witcher 3.

And since witcher 3 is available in all next generation & pc, ( sorry Nintendo owners) everyone wins.

holidays lineup, I give the notch to X1.

I have a feeling Sony will do a price cut to offset the lack of killer lineup in holidays.

Bloodborne and TW3 are 2015 games.
I expect both to win GOTY a few awards I expect no Xbox exclusive to win GOTY at least from a reliable source.

You can expect what ever you want. Having those expectations when the Xbox has a game that won many GOTY rewards with its previous title, seem a bit silly, and forced. Even more so when you consider that you haven't even seen it.

Hi valliance, I appreciate you made good posts in game specific threads like witcher 3, but when it comes to consoles/ exclusive comparisons, I do not see a difference between you and Flynn.

Your comments that no Xbox exclusive will win goty, despite not even been released, not to mentioned previous versions being critical acclaimed and won multiple gotys ( like tomb raider reboot and halo series) , are completely fanboyish and had no traction.

There is no hope for people like Flynn, which he 'justify' being under ms payroll, but I urge you not to become ps/ Sony version of Flynn.

While I do agree that his expectations is a bit of jumping the gun, the last Halo to win game of the year awards was Halo 3 (if it's halo you're referring to).

I do expect the new Halo to outsell whatever game is labeled game of the year, but going by past history, I doubt Halo will be given that crown this year. I'm not saying it won't, just saying I don't "think" it will.

Couldn't the case be made that their exclusives add more variety by not being shooters and racing games? There isn't exactly a shortage of those.

It should be but is anyone shocked it has turned into a dick measuring contest.

No, it wasn't Halo I was referring to. I was talking about Tomb Raider.

I am looking forward to to be raider and I do not even had an Xbox.

Maybe they have a massive price cut here and I can get a tomb raider Xbox bundle for the cheap during the holidays.

You can have good games and variety, no rule there that you can't. You can have a better variety and good games at the same time, which looks as if MS does on the AAA front.

There isn't many games like Forza and TR on consoles lol. PCars is the first I've seen. How many Sci Fi shooters are there? not many anymore.

You said Racer and FPS. Having those isn't adding to overall variety of your systems game lineup.

Now popularity is clearly in X1 favor for the games we are talking about so fine talk about that but variety when you look at the overall lineup? Nope.

Destiny didn't score great but not bad either... funny thing is how many millions enjoy it on a daily basis INCLUDING those who gave it soso reviews.
Will they re-review it? Nope and that's the problem. Yes I enjoy it as it is a game that has much to offer with the best co-op around.

Its coming to PC/PS4 so just wait for the better version.

"I have Tomb Raider shipping next holiday exclusively on Xbox. It is Xbox 360 and Xbox One," Spencer told Eurogamer. "I'm not trying to fake anybody out in terms of where this thing is. What they do with the franchise in the long run is not mine. I don't control it. So all I can talk about is the deal I have. I don't know where else Tomb Raider goes."

He goes on to confirm that the exclusivity deal between Microsoft and Rise publisher Square Enix "has a duration" and that they don't own the rights to the game in perpetuity. He declined to say how long that duration will be, though.

"It's not because I'm trying to be a headfake on anybody. It's a deal between us and the partner. People ask me how much did we pay. There are certain things I'm just not going to talk about because it's a business deal between us and them."

I haven't heard audio of the interview. I'm guessing, though, Spencer said these quotes with the sort of frustration that can only come from being asked the same question over and over for 24 hours: "How exclusive is your exclusive?"

yawn

Now this is VARIETY:

June - Planetside 2 (mmo)
July - Rocket League (car combat sports)
July - God Of War 3 Remastered (action)
Aug - Until Dawn (adventure)
Q3 - Tomorrow Children (open world sandbox)
Q3 - Everybody's Gone to Rapture (adventure)
Sep - Disgaea 5 (s-rpg)
Oct - Uncharted Collection (action adventure)
Oct - Dragon Quest Heroes (action rpg)
Q4 - Persona 5 (j-rpg)
Q4 - Tearaway Unfolded (platformer)

And then there are still Rime (open world puzzle adventure) and No Man's Sky... their release dates are a bit sketchy so I'm not including them on the list.
