Back in the TXB days, Astrograd said GT5 will do 5 million lifetime and I told him "Nope, 10 million+ once this gen is over". GT5 sold over 12 million copies on the PS3 so I'm going with the next true GT (GT7) game as being the biggest selling exclusive Sony title again.

Ok, we're getting too deep into sales figures, guys. We have a sales thread for that, or better still, the individual game threads.
Let's move back to discussing the games themselves, not how they sell.
On topic, the list I made was just one possible way of looking at things. There are many others (e.g., which has the more risk-taking portfolio, which had the most happy surprises, the most sleeper hits, the most original IPs, etc.). Feel free to make your own list.

My list that matches this would be Sony's ps4 exclusives. I think Nintendo has a chance of making more diverse games on the NX.
Pretty much! People love some gran turismo no matter how far from grace it has fallen.
True dat. Fact is there are still a number of people who haven't played Forza yet, hence....
Either way we get great Forza games every year, meanwhile Gran Turismo games are delayed to hell. This isn't even a full release game with all the cars and still gets delayed.

Of course de3d1 comes out of the woodwork with the delay talk in a year where Microsoft delays a ton of games and he never says a word. Just a coincidence I am sure.
Last time I read the list it was pretty scarce and I thought one other high profile title was bumped to 2017 as well? Maybe they're thinking the Neo and PSVR will carry them through the holiday season?

They probably will but If we learned anything about this gen is that big Holiday reasons don't mean jack. Sony hasn't had a good one yet and this Holiday is probably their best and that is sad.

What is a ton of delays for MS this year? 2-3? That's like a typical year for sony. So by that description, sony delays a ton of games EVERY year.
MS deserves one of those years once in awhile, especially this year when their holiday is already stacked.

Well mistakes start to become a problem when things are repeated, that's generally how it works. If MS continues this, it won't be good for anyone.
MS doesn't have any Duke Nukem's, TLG, or GT, legendary names of delays. I hope they never do. Alan Wait maybe.

True. But I was pretty upset that they canceled Fable Legends after having us beta test it for so long. They kept improving it, adding features, increasing the resolution, tons of feedback, got delayed and in the end, canceled. Those bastards!

Well, Sony hasn't released a GT game since 2013 (GT6). The soonest we will see the next GT game is 2017. We have NEVER seen a GT game on our PS4 in nearly the 4 years we will have had it by then.you forgot higher rated/bigger selling
And yet the slower selling Forza has given us Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Horizon 3 and apparently Forza Motorsport 7 in 2017. That is with millions playing online still.
So you have millions of gamers enjoying a lower selling racing game, and millions of gamers not playing ANY the highest selling game.
BTW, Forza 6 is rated higher (87) than GT6 (81) (the most recent releases from both).
I don't know about you, but I would take playing a good game vs. not playing a good game.
