Official Thread Game of Thrones

Yeah that's my guess. The story has always been that the mad king had the tunnels under kingslanding filled with wildfire.

Where was the Battle of the Bastards?

Holy s*** that was an awesome Mountain scene!

I preferred the Hounds axe scene.

The Hound is back...sort of.

There were actually a fair few good scenes in this episode. The Hound. The Mountain. Arya.

And while Daenary's scene wasn't particularly awesome, it does set up what is likely to be an awesome decimation of the Masters in the next/last episode:banana::banana:

I thought the scenes with the Hound were the best ones in this episode, well that and the ships attacking the city, other than that I thought this was the weakest episode of the season, it wasn't bad it's just the season has been a really strong one overall. Next week looks to be insane though, can't wait to see it.

GOT is awesome, top shelf tv but man that tree scene(grenades and the horde chasing down the hall and ending with Hodor holding the door closed, so bad) was cheesy as hell. It was like something from a Syfy movie/show, that scene and the one were mother of dragons escapes on the dragon a season or two ago were the cheesiest things in an otherwise epic series.

The only part I didn't like about that chase in the cave scene was the way they went with that choppy cam effect when the dead were attacking the forest child, it didn't fit with everyone else. Other that that (and another wolf being killed) I thought the scene was great.

Very nice... but was ghost having a nap??

As nice as the ending was a direwolf would have satisfied even more.

I was glad he wasn't there, they would have found away to kill him lol. The effects were great in this episode, they improved the look of riding on the dragon so much from what it was last year, things blended together much better and of course the battle scene looked feature film worthy.

Such amazing acting by Iwan Rheon last night. He was dead on in every scene last night. His facial reactions were perfect.

Great episode. Not sure how this one can be topped. I was unsure of what was going to happen but was rooting for someone to save the good guys. I loved Littlefinger's expression when he showed up. And Sansa was badass again. I hadn't see that since she walked down the stairs in the black raven dress when she joined Littlefinger.

Oh what a fitting end, most of the episode had me smiling
