Official Thread Game of Thrones

Rickon was a nothing part of the story. He was just the cool peoples brother.

Always an afterthought, Rickon finally took center stage for a brief moment in “Battle of the Bastards”

(Spoiler alert: This contains a major spoiler for the June 19 “Game of Thrones” episode, “Battle of the Bastards.” So, you know.)

Poor Rickon Stark. The youngest member of House Stark has never had anything to do except stand in the background of shots and occasionally say something whiny.

And while all the other Stark children had seemingly important parts to play in the story of “Game of Thrones” — the Starks have been at the center of the show since day one — Rickon never had any kind of cool destiny. He was just the youngest one, whom you’d generally forget existed when he wasn’t on screen.

It was always a bummer when he popped up, too, because you’d think, “Maybe this time Rickon will matter.” But, no, Rickon never mattered. The closest he came to being significant was in season 2, when Theon pretended to murder him and Bran and everybody got real sad. But we knew the sadness was mostly about Bran, who was an Important Character. Even back then we kinda knew Rickon would never be important.

There was that scene in season (I think) too where he had the same dream as Bran. As Bran's story progressed I figured Rickon would be an important sidekick. But it never happened.

I was hoping Sansa would killed Ramsey herself but leaving his own hounds to him while Sansa watched was pretty epic.

Thus season gave us the most tragic death and most epic battle in the series. I love it.

It made no sense for Sansa not to tell Jon about Littlefinger possibly sending help.

I agree but I also don't think she knew for sure that he was actually going to come, had she known I think she would have said something. Otherwise she's just an a****** lol.

Well she kept her meeting with him secret. He planted some doubt in her with the half brother comments.

What are the hopes for the last episode?

I'm hoping for a look at what Sam is up to now. Is he rogue or did he go to Old Town? No idea what is going on there.

Assuming the last episode ties up some loose ends. The most recent episode was probably the most focused one I can remember it was all Winterfell and Mareen sorted out.

I wouldn't be surprised if the focus was on the Margery cross to set up next season. We are fast approaching the end of this show so this crown and religion stuff needs to be put to bed. Not sure how it will end, maybe with Cerci meeting her death. Maybe Margery meeting her death. Maybe both. I expect the The Mountain will destroy the high sparrow at Cerci's ruling thing though.

I also think we will see Danny cross the narrow sea.

Nan think he will be fine.

And to think he originally went for the part of Jon

And remember that last shot isn't cgi.

Edit - the horses coming at kitt as you fixed the last one which clearly has cgi

The actor who played Ramsay was almost too good as a despicable bastard. Hopefully it doesn't hurt his career.

Depends what you mean by hurt his career? He will get work, but probably as a bad guy from now on. He's just one of those actors with one of those faces.
