They need every solider to stand a chance and a big part of Dany's army is trapped by the ironborn fleet.

One United army is the only chance they have against the Knight Kings Javelin

Cersei seems totally chill and would be totally reasonable...

Definitely the biggest plot hole of the show. Although at least getting Dany on board makes some sense.
If you think about it it actually makes perfect sense. I mean, it is pretty pointless fighting over an ugly chair if you are goin to be dead.

You think it is plot hole because you think Cersei is unreasonable, but self survival is a powerful motivation. Hence the proof.

Plot hole or not, I've been thoroughly entertained this season--I mean the amount of awesome is stratospheric. They'd need planet-sized holes to disappoint me. Like, they'd have to suddenly have Frodo arrive by ship from Middle Earth and warn everyone that the one ring didn't burn properly, so he needs to borrow a dragon to fly back to Mount Doom. Meanwhile, the Orcs are about to invade Westeros.

Danny shouldn't be too upset.

She still has that f***ing awesome jacket!

Id sell all 3 of my children for that jacket.

Why are people demanding realism in a fantasy show? Do they really want to see a Raven fly for three days? see the guys sitting on a frozen rock for three days? It may seem jarring to have things happening at a quicker pace when in the past everything took time to play out but it just can't be done like that anymore with so few episodes left.

I'm getting nervous about Cleganebowl. If there's one person on this I want to live, it's the Hound.

It would have been done if they did a normal season and it looks like they should have at this point

A normal season would have meant smaller budgets per episode so a lot of things would have been different and we would have had a longer wait. Also let's be real, at times in the past there were some episodes that were filler, this kind of weeds some of that out.

Faster pace doesn't bother me. It's end of the world time.

10 episodes would have seen filler and people have had 6 seasons to have a good idea of how long it takes to get to places.

The last episode could have done with some day to night shots or even a line about being stuck here for 3 days but it was fine other wise.

This is probably true and may be the right decision but the story has suffered for the sake of action scenes.

The show needs more Cersei being c***y.

They need to throw in a few scenes of her walking into a room insulting people in every episode.

If Olenna was still around she could handle that bit but since they decided she had to go it's all on Cersei now.

Looking forward to the season finale but it's been rushed for sure. We all know it.

The books will have something to look forward to at the very least.

Here we go!
