Gamespot: As Driveclub Issues Persist, Dev Says It's Considering Player Compensation

I don't think they made it very clear that that stuff would come later. Do you have any links with them stating this?

I consider myself more than a casual fan. And I had no idea these features weren't going to be in the game on day one.

I knew they said that the game would evolve over time.

And I'm not trying to be a smart ass CW.

The game is a beta. There no way around it. They should have delayed it further because it's DOA now. Sales will not pick up over time. They royally screwed up with it.

I think if you followed the game it was very clear, but no, they didn't go out of their way to make it obvious to those with casual interest.

I honestly would have rather waited until it was ready for the full package, never heard of patching in weather and replays.

Driveclub's online issues are inexcusable and Sony's biggest 1st party embarassment this gen. It's been 11 days since Oct 7 launch.

Too bad because the core gameplay is good and the online features are a good hook when they work.

Yeah, i like the game but it's ridiculous that the online isn't ready. Especially after it was already delayed. That's probably why they rushed it though. Sony is worried about taking the heat like last gen. Oh well, i'll give it a shot when it's ready. The game is solid otherwise.

Sony should seriously consider switching to MS's Azure services.

"one in/one out policy" "we did virtual testing for tens of thousands..."

That is completely ghetto, lets pretend it's 2014 for a minute. The platform has what, 10million users? And you are "virtual testing" for tens of thousands? That is mind-blowingly short-sighted.

"one in/one out policy" "we did virtual testing for tens of thousands..."

They shouldn't have said that, it makes them look silly. Ten of thousands of users is like saying the game is on X1.

jk

They pulled DC from the PSN Store. I was just trying to buy it :(

Edit: found it. There are two of them but one is not available.

I still see the option to buy the $49.99 discounted version on the store. Did your PS+ sub expire?
