Hey Ash! Whatcha playin' now?! v 3.0!

last time I play a game was 2 weeks ago. I work 2 jobs, so when I am done, I prefer something more refreshingm, like watch a show or youtube.

Mainly Elite Dangerous right now. Been thinking about getting back into Elder Scrolls Online though. Maybe later this week or the weekend.

I've been playing a bunch of House Flipper. The game literally feels like a chore. I've broken in my fiance, and He's started cleaning more... But I actually enjoy cleaning, and getting to complain about it. But in House Flipper, you get to clean windows, and wash the floor and clean cobwebs and throw out boxes.

There's the other aspect, like having to redesign the houses and crap, but I don't enjoy that nearly as much. Still, it's ok for a cheap steam game

And I finally got around to trying State of Decay 1: Ive had it on PC for years, and never tried it. I'm not sure what I think. The game doesn't photograph well, but it's not as ugly in motion.

I was hoping for cars to respawn, and there are a bunch of mechanics that they could clarify a bit better. Like not collecting the all the resources before converting to an outpost. Etc.

Finished The Witcher 2 over the weekend. Still playing Football Manager 18 while watching TV or early in the morning. Somehow won the Premier League and Cup and made the quarterfinals of the Champions League with freaking Colchester. We're sitting pretty now with maxed out facilities everywhere other than the 18000 seat stadium (which, honestly, seems about as big as they can support) and if I can fix the appalling state of my efense (spelled as there really isn't much 'd'), might somehow even win the CL someday.

Need to get started on Witcher 3 soon.

I picked Crash Bandicoot and Hell Blade. Both have been real good so far.

Crash looks great at 4k and the game is pretty difficult. I haven't minded the running toward screen section in this. I'm not sure why, maybe they just have better visual cues as to where the oncoming platforms are (I dont remember any on the original).

Hell Blade is Gorgeous, but does lack a lot of the subtle interactions you see in lots of games like foliage that moves when you step on it, or even footprints.

Kinda weird given the really good cloth sim and high level post effects. There is even an effect I've never seen in what looks like animated tesselation for the surf coming in! I even noticed the ground displacing in a cutscene as she crawled about.

The sound is really awesome.

Just finished captain Spirit awesome adventure. It's nice, but It feels too 'narrative' base, & too little gameplay. The father-child plot/relationship is predictable & typical. You know when you play it. The strength of the game, is it revive a bit of childhood when you have imagined friends. Overall I would recommend to anyone into narrative base adventure games.

I also played some Lara Croft & Temple of Osiris with a friend. Bought it cheap at Steam summer sales.
Very enjoyable as a MP experience. Teamwork is critical., since each character has special tools not available to the others that you need to utilized to solve the puzzles which are pretty well done overall. One is particularly hard, but we never felt the game is cheap.

Tried the Surge again and I just cant beat the first Boss lol...sometimes he goes down and I have a chance to hit him a few times but not always and I have no idea what triggers it...awful camera and dodge animation does not help either.

I remember Temple of Osiris,I still have it installed but played solo...theres a jumping puzzles with monsters firing at you that I cant manage, quite a ways in,just gave up on it but yeah its a fun game.

Been playing Hali MCC splitscreen with my 2 kids and having lots of fun. My interest in Zelda has dropped precipitously. The narrative isn't strong enough, and I feel like I'm just wandering around. I don't love the combat either. It can be fun, but group combat is lacking...

I jumped back into my new game plus in the Witcher 3.... I hadn't been back to Velen since the. 4k update and Damn... game is still gorgeous. Especially in the 4k mode. Game is so immersive, and I really enjoy the combat in it. Working my way toward the expansions that I've never played.
