That's right the best versions of console games which are and will continue to be on the PS4 this generation for me.
I don't know how to put this in a nice way but....2 be brutally honest the PS4 UI and PSN are so much better than the XBO UI and XBL...PLUS PS4 has better 3rd party exclusive content for my tastes.
So even with slightly worse looking and performing versions of games...The majority of my 3rd party games will continue to not be on Xbox. I am aware that I might at times not get the PS4/Pro versions but for the most part I don't see this changing.

I have been positive about the Scorpio and am looking 4ward 2 it but(some more brutal honesty)
I don't plan on doing much gaming on it unless MS can improve the games I would buy on it like its console exclusives and its UI/XBL needs major work.

If not...mainly to be a Ultra HD BR Player.

Funny we just did a youtube video talking about this very thing :)

Indeed they did . It's extremely fluent. Anything can be accessed on the fly with just one tap of the home button on the controller . No more double tap . Never liked that . I honestly think removing all of the snap features helped free up alot of resources. Was never a fan of snap either . Just slowed things down way too much . The new UI Pretty much reminds me of how the 360 was at the end .

Awesome. Sounds good.

I watched a YouTube video of it. It looked like they fixed the unresponsiveness. Is that the case?

That was my biggest issue with the UI.

I really like the UI right now. Once used to it, I can access everything quicker than I can on PS4. Tying in things like groups makes it much more full featured.

I understand the preference of PS4 UI in the past. It's simple and snappy. It also had 360 features that the Xbox One originally got rid of (like background music). Xbox One UI was originally over-engineered and clunky. Don't know what the F the team was thinking in 2013. It's back to being great now. I can get to everything quickly with only my controller. With it's added features, it's passed up PlayStations UI.

The problem was with the original UI for Xbox one was made for Kinect . It was horrible . Also one advantage IMO the Xbox UI has a huge leg up on Sony is the social features . Love the Facebook / twitter style of sharing features . Especially on the tablet and home app.

I like GOG because of drm free, cheaper on newer games, and most of all you can splits the cost among your families or friends (hopefully you know what I'm talking about... If not you're dumb as f***). I bought a lot of games (Witcher 3, Owlboy, Minecraft Story mode, Shadow Tactics, Legend of Heroes, Momodora, Oceanhorn, Hollow Knights, Zombie Night Terror, Ori and The Blind Forest, etc.) from there but I like Steam a little better than GOG because of ease of use, valve/codemaster games, and my buddies on it.

Oh yeah. F U Windows store. It's a freaking mess. MS should just put their games on GOG or Steam.

Up until the current Xbox UI I would have said PS4 by miles just for how quick it was. New Xbox one for me makes them about the same at least for getting basic information quickly. Beyond that I don't really care.

Maybe I am missing something. I find it much easier to share screenshots with the share button on the PS controller and choosing Facebook, and it uploads instantly. Are you saying it is faster and easier on Xbox? (I haven't tried sharing screenshots on Xbox to Facebook yet). Last time I used the screenshot feature in Xbox it was clunky as hell.

I'm talking about for the newsfeed on Xbox. like you can see all of my activity and everything I've shared as far as my latest game clip screenshots commenting on things just like on Facebook . I Have over 100 Followers . I Don't share any of that kind of activity on my Facebook account. Lol .

Ah, ok yes. The activity feed on the Xbox One dash is most impressive for the social use indeed. The one thing I don't like is that on my PS Pro is that it takes screenshots of my trophy moments (which is cool), but then the screenshot is tainted by the trophy pop up notification.

BTW, I don't share my screenshots on my FB account either. They are all set to private uploads so that only I can see them, then I can download them and use them in forums.

I have owned a PS3 and a PS4 and regretted buying them both times and sold shortly after. To many reasons why I prefer the Xbox but the dashboard alone turned me off every time I powered the thing up.

I would be very disappointed if the Xbox brand went away but I doubt it would.

All of my Xbox clips and shots are saved as well . I also upload them to twitter or YouTube Staiight from the console . Yea the Xbox app on the phone pretty much reminds me of facebook as far as how it launches straight to your activity feed and your friends . Also Microsoft will post to it as well with gaming news and specials going on . It's pretty neat . You can also post or share anything that you have saved right from your phone to your activity feed using the Xbox app

Wouldn't be shocked if Windows store gets an overhaul pretty soon. MS is really good at iterating. They weren't focused on their Windows store until now. It'll take a few years but I do expect them to catch up or at least significantly close the gap with Steam. No excuse for them not to.

Using the triggers is a godsend. I don't get the love for the PS UI. never have. I dislike having to scroll though everything, and typing is so horrible, it's a joke.

I love the new 'BOne UI. kept the stuff I liked, sped it up, and added a very Blade-like functionality.

...and what is special about the PlayStation UI? It's about as basic as you can get.

That's what is special about it. Simple is better. The 360's UI was leagues ahead of the X1's UI at launch. PS4's UI felt like the true successor to 360's UI in my opinion. That's why when everyone praises Microsoft for making improvements and ridicule Sony for keeping the UI the same people laugh. They needed to make more improvements, and they did. I still like the PS4 UI more but X1 has come a long way and is just as good as 360's UI now.

Microsoft has already made two strong attempts at capturing the pc market and failed miserably due to the huge anti-consumer pushes Microsoft is known for.

They have an entirely different team with a different strategy since their last "strong push". They've never improved their store or released Xbox exclusives on the pc despite all the work they put into iterating Xbox so I wouldn't call any attempt in the past "strong".

It's going to be different. Would be entirely shocked if we didn't start seeing improvements by the end of this year.

Well... That's idiotic.
The best thing was the menu?

Thank god the Oscars have "Best DVD MENU" as the winner.

Anyway, You be you, we love you for being you!

You'd be my first vote for new mod.

They did make two very strong pushes before and failed. That is a fact. Especially with GfWL. And Microsoft is still lacing their games with Denuvo DRM, which is definitely not Microsoft doing things differently.

Actually you don't have any luv 4 my opinion/s.
I said UI and psn plus the controller(even though xbo is fine) and the exclusive extras that 3rd party games I like get also (well connected to psn) the social aspect.
These are reasons enough 4 ps4/pro to be my format of choice....even over my pc's..which I stated numerous times but because now it's Xbox you have fault? Lol do you even own a ps4 yet? Bet you don't and would get another beefed up Xbox over a new experience like ps4...that's some plastic luv and a bit troubling on a serious note.

What do you think of the new X1 UI

It'll get good. They had to fix Xbox UI and hardware first. No reason for them not to stay on this track since they've added Play Anywhere. MS has reacted well to customer criticism since Mattrick left.

What I am saying is...since the new bosses there has been a new UI and its still pretty bad.
I still hope that the new revamp, gets revamped again.

I owned 2 and have access to some of my digital games on my computers.
Shes owned none

SHE hasn't?!
