I would have bought this game had they made it available as digital on the Xbox store.

Enjoying it a lot and I either missed a lot of stuff or have simply forgotten it.

Yep. Bought it near launch day in 2008 and never got past that Paraflare Fudgeface boss at Grand Staff, disc 1/

Thanks to Xbox One and game streaming to my PC i can now play lost odyssey on my treadmill.

It's not a big game. It was a fun game, but it was an average length linear game put out by a small unknown game studio on a very low budget, whose main focus is now mobile gaming due to its lack of any success in console gaming market. It was a nice throwback on classic RPGs tho.
 
Actually it had a pretty big budget. Some thing the devs decided to move away from later due to the pressure
 
No surprise. Bayonetta went up in price as soon as it went BC.
 
LO runs smoother on Xbox One. Xbox 360 dips to 10 fps vs. 30 fps on Xbox One at 1:14

Yeah it's running really well for me. Faster load times, little frame rate drop once or twice but if course the big one... 1 disc

You are correct it isn't a big game, it's a huge game.

No, it's def not an average length game nor is average a term I would use to describe this game. Is it linear? Sure, I guess. Most JRPGS are. It has a main storyline but there are plenty of sidequests to do. It takes around 50 hrs to finish this game. I f you finish every quest you're looking at 140-150 hrs. The story is what really sets it apart from other rpgs though.

50 hours is average for JRPGs.

Oh I see what you are doing, but Lost Odyssey is a JRPG, not a Call of Duty shooter. Oranges and apples. You obviously want to take this argument in a very weird direction and bring it down to your level. Have fun I guess.

Nice try. Maybe you could call it an average length JRPG instead of an average length game.

Or is specifying too wierd and below your level?

Lost Odyssey is about 8 years old and still better than most JRPGs that have been released to this day.
 
I don't even remember what the game was about. I made it to the 3rd disk and lost interest. I haven't been much of a fan of jrpg's after the PS1 days came to an end.
 
Deserves praise for having 2 kids in it that I don't want to kill
 
I enjoyed both but LO is the better off the 2.

Sucked that Cry On was canned
