I couldn't beat the first boss. I only gave it two attempts, but I was annihilated so embarassinly I figured I had no chance. I began playing Blue Dragon a few years later, and had a much easier time with that one.

Everyone seems to be enjoying this game. I'll fire it up this week and give that giant bird boss another try.

I LOVED Lost Odyssey. Don't understand why the game never got a remaster or PC release. The Story and more importantly the side stories ( 1000 years of dreams) are very well done.

You just gotta grind before the bosses. I remember having hell with one before you switched discs, I don’t remember what it looked like.

I don't think I ever got far enough into the game to install disc 2.

I got the digital version for free several years ago for some reason and I don't remember why.

MS gave it free over Christmas a few years back.

Still got my disc(you only need the first now same with Blue Dragon) but made sure to get my free digital copy.

Back when you could get 50 MS Points per day for earning an Achievement, I played through Too Human twice.

It really wasn't as bad as I had been lead to believe, but those last few bosses were some of the worst gaming experiences of my entire life. 🤣

I played through maybe half of TH back in the day it was decent. I have it now in my digital library I wonder how it holds up now.
 
It also made the mistake of not being much fun until you level up to around 15.

Eternal Sonata’s demo was pretty good and sold me on the game. Superbly overdone melodrama, a fever-dream of a plot, and after you beat the game, the characters try to talk you into suicide as the credits roll.

Having said that, the art style, the music, and the semi-realtime combat were great. I thought the combat mechanics were a sorely needed innovation in that genre.
