Watching that brought back a nostalgic feel of when this was all new and exciting. That might be a reason for me to get the Wii U. I'm impressed, exudes fun.
Thanks amigaengine for your contributions to the thread. The game looks like the Nintendo universe come to life. Incredible.
Please Nintendo. Give us an updated F-Zero this generation as well.
I've been hearing a number of people say that, Adam. This game may be a minor system seller for Nintendo. I hope so. It looks like they put a lot of effort into it.
It looks like a really fun game, especially with others. It almost makes me consider getting a Wii U myself. I still need a few more reasons, but MK8 definitely makes me envy Wii U owners right about now.
Indeed they do, I can't wait until this Crunchtime is over so I can get back into my Wii U! Such a backlog with DKC:TF, Mario Kart 8 coming up and Super Mario 3D world.Mario Kart 8 is going to be awesome. Nintendo understands the true meaning of fun.
I do think we'll get an F-Zero, something tells me they want to go for that multiplayer local and online feel they've been pushing for so long. For instance a lot of people do complain abuot F-Zero for the N64, but it had a s*** load of individual racers in the game, where the competition had like 16, F-Zero had easily double that number. Imagine a 32 Player racer online with 4 player local , Nintendo can do it!No problem as I follow every piece of info out there anyway lol . Wait till Bayonetta/X gets closer and then I will be spamming these threads hardcore
If nintendo was to cave and give us a new Fzero/Starfox this gen they would have to include the Vitality sensor because gamers would be stroking out left and right
That's because the Graphics hardware on board of a Wii U is about 3 a 4 (depending on the console) iterations newer. This means it can do a few nifty new tricks that makes it far more efficient than those other two platforms. On top of that that 32Megs of eDRam certainly helps to keep it fed as well as helping in compute problems that require a low latency.
Game looks quite better than PS3/360 imo

Same thing happened to me. : /And to be fair, I bought a Wii-U at launch and to be honest, really liked it. But once I got done playing NSMB there wasnt really anything else to play. And after a month or two of waiting, I just gave up and sold it to a co-worker. Now that some really awesome games are out. Im ready to hop back on the bandwagon.
My fiancee and I played co op Mario and the Luigi DLC, sold it shortly after for Xbox One money. I just rebought the Wii U a couple weeks ago and ill keep it this time although I dont see myself playing a ton of games on it. We are playing Mario 3D right now which is great and I can not wait for Mario Kart.Same thing happened to me. : /
Nintendo has announced a new Wii U bundle for Europe, bringing together Mario Kart 8 and a 32GB Black Premium console.
The bundle will be available from May 30 and contains everything you'd expect in the box, including a black Wii U GamePad controller and Sensor Bar. The bundle will be sold for £249.99 according to Nintendo's official UK Store.
Alongside the hardware bundle, Nintendo has also confirmed two new Wii Remote Plus controllers will be available. While the first is the Princess Peach-themed Remote seen previously, the second is based off Yoshi and comes in a green and white shell.
Hmm, as it seems like Mario Kart 8 will not provide us with Voice chat, would anybody have an idea of solving this. After all part of the hilarity is the lamentations of your co-racers as you blasted them into last place, from a very comfortable second place that you held for almost the entire race.
I can provide some options maybe, like a Mumble server, but I still would like to get some ideas thrown in first.
Well, Skype might also work, it just is a bit harsh on the old resources. I can set up a temporary Mumble server for that.I have a 360 and a PS4, if other people have one of those we can set up chat through that.
