That picture is pretty much my thought. Why would anybody trade in a PS3 for only $100 towards a console that then costs the same amount as the PS4? lol. They would just save the console & buy a PS4 instead. Not really much incentive there.

I was thinking this exact samething. Its not like this is a PS2 or something.

I wonder whos idea within Microsoft thought this would be a good idea. It didn't work for Windows Phone/Surface, what makes them think it'll work with the Xbox.

If I was MS, I'd take those 1,000s of PS3 and literally dump them at GS for cheap. GS would in turn dump them for cheap and it would possibly steer away some gamers waiting for PS4 who haven't bought any consoles in the past generation.

360/PS3 generation is over for most people and devs. Most people are waiting until next gen or are probably sick of another year of 360/PS3.

Getting 1,000s or 10,000s of used PS3s into gamers hands would mean nothing MS at this point.

I will understand women, & solve world hunger before I understand what MS is trying to do this gen. They were so good & successful last gen. Do they have complete new people involved in xbox one.

Someone need to pay big money to get whoever in charge of 360 back, put the new guy on a plane to far away.
