NBA 2K14 is 1080p and 60FPS on XBOX ONE

I thought XB1 couldn't do 1080p.

Yep. Just as I thought.
Will wait when COD:G is announced to be 1080p on both consoles.
That is when I will pull quotes from the usual suspects to see who wants to eat crow in what order.

".....bbuuutttt....it is 720p because some 'insider on a website' told me so."
LMAO.

I was going to get this on the 360 and glad I didn't. After reading about it today, it will be on the list of games to get on launch.

The bigger news is that the press was invited today to an event in San Francisco to play the latest build of NBA 2K14 and the Xbox One version was missing. Kind of a recurring theme lately with multiplatform games.

native or upscaled?
Native is the ONLY reason to give a resolution.

All games will be upscaled, so that would make no sense. Xbox 360 even scaled everything to your set's native res. PS3, not so much.

Did he actually say that Xbox One can't output 1080p, or even can't render it natively?

He said it would have a lot of trouble outputting in 1080p (as compared to multiplats on PlayStation I'm guessing).

Anyone ever noticed that CBOATs predictions are always pro-Playstation/anti-Xbox?

I mean, I remember when he predicted that indies would only have 3GB of available RAM to work with on Xbox One (another one of his false rumors Microsoft shot down). The yield issues, the overheating...etc.

Same with a Kotaku article today about Need for Speed Rivals. Both on PC and PS4...not X1 version in sight. But i am gonna stop worrying and will just wait until the systems launch and then we'll see. Kotaku says PS4 version is like playing the PC version, i want to hear that about X1 too.
