Make a good game and the community will complain less. There would be nothing wrong with a good live service BF game. The problem with past games is that the "live service" is mostly dead, and the base game is lacking in features and content.
I think BF V would have succeeded if they actually got more content out for it quickly. It had a resurgence when they dropped the Pacific content (then the disastrous patch that broke everything again).
Build a good game and people will play it. The base game needs to be much better, and they need to be realistic with "live service" expectations. They dropped like 1 map a year in BF V. That's not a live service game.

Just shows that despite all their "we have learned" BS they are making the same mistakes.
They continue to want to be in the same league with COD’s money when they’re not. Stick with what made your games great and the community will play it.
I was playing BF2042 recently and I get tired of them taking playlists away. Rush is my favorite and they constantly add it then take it away for a period of time. Give us all modes and maps 24/7 let us decide what we want to play. If your community is not big enough for that then gays their problem. I miss the server search feature in the older games. I’d find people that had great serves I’d frequent.
