Nintendo Direct Thread

I am really hoping this Star Fox rumor is true. Metroid, Star Fox, Zelda, and Smash. Cmon!

Playing the Wii U this week has really made me realize how much I still love Nintendo. I really want them to get their s*** together.

Their s*** is together, it's waiting for you in all its colourful glory. Just accept it, embrace the Wii U and stop counting the pixels :). It's the most fun platform of the three with fans that are far nicer, even to other fans of other platforms, than that of the competition :).

Join us and all of us shall rule the Galaxy as Nintendo and Fans :).

Is it me or was this Nintendo's best E3 in years ? To be honest i cant even remember what Sony showed and Phantom Dust is the only Xbox game that excited me

Starfox
Bayonetta 1&2 on the disc :)
Devils Third, called that one 8 months ago lol
OMG Zelda !! Plasma Crossbow
Xenoblade Chronicles X

Have yet to play MK8 (still wrapped) or not too mention Smash Bro's. Will have plenty to play once the weather gets nasty again.

Forgot to mention
Sonic Boom
Hyrule Warriors
Yoshi's Woolly World

Flock off feather face

Besides Zelda I think Yoshi's Woolly World looked to be my favorite

I was more impressed with the Nintendo games than anything at the other 2 company presentations overall. That being said I still don't own a WiiU but it is really tempting with that Zelda coming!

The Wii U needs a price drop for me to bite. I would pay $250, but not a penny more. A price cut should have been in their plans for E3.

What's up dude, where you been?

Finally home from the business trip, and had some time watching the Direct. Heavens that was fun :)! In my own opiniont hey blew the other two away in showing what I wanted to see. Gameplay of new games for 2015 and showing FUN! :).

I mean the ZELDA showing was just EPIC! Seems like the rumour for a Skyrim like Zelda were true, and they never left the colourfull impresionist art style at all :). That stuff was jaw dropping. Furthermore the announcement of a Bayonetta port included with Bayonetta 2? Brilliant :). They really are starting to kick ass and taking names :).

Sorry a tad hyper and sleepy at the same time, not a good combination :p.

You just don't want to admit you're eating crow tonight, and moved the goalposts a bit further :p. Face for a Nintendo fan, Nintendo blew the other two out of the water (For a Nintendo fan atleast ;)).

Delusional much? The only thing im admitting is that the Wii U isn't worth paying more than $250 for.

You should pick one up right now. Specially with that MK 8 promotion. You can get another free game when you buy it. I got the New Mario/Luigi Bundle and MK 8, then downloaded Wind Waker HD. The console, gamepad, and 3.5 games for $360, not a bad deal.

Nintendo's conference reminds me of how Nintendo is all about first-party over using third-party. It really pushed too much of the usual classic IPs, and it feels kind of meh. But the new Zelda looks really expansive and large, and the Inky Splatoon game looks completely epic. I think if Nintendo wants to be king again, they have to innovate new solid IPs to add to their arsenal. And I really wanted that Mario Sunshine remake.

Nintendo IPs are fine they just need to sell their brand to 3rd party devs. Without them Nintendo will fall way behind, even more than now.

No, most people agree that Nintendo's conference blew the other two away in sheer amount of games and what they offered in actual gameplay footage. You just were one of the most adamant about their presser being the worst idea ever ;). So now you move goalposts about the price rather then start eating your delicious crow ;). Don't worry when properly prepared Crow tastes very nice. And Nintendo sauce makes everything better.

We would love to welcome you back to the Nintendo family! Come on give in, become one of us... one of us.... :p.

People will forever complain.....

have another hobby that occupy's my time in the spring/summer months :)

Ooh neat? Nitro Engines? Or something else? Sorry I do not know much about that subject, but I do find it very interesting to watch. Like a real life RC Pro Am :).

I race 2wd and 4wd shortcourse trucks, they run on 2s lipo batteries and use 1000watt brushless motors. 30-35mph with 6+ pound toys lol

Got mine here

Neat, I do hope the dirt doesn't ruin the parts and the bearings. I heard from a friend once that it was awful sometimes how many parts he needed to replace ;). But maybe he was just a terrible driver :).

And seriously that course really looks like RC Am Pro's levels heh. :p.

Well sometimes you can run into big expense if something electronic goes out but I will say it is half the cost of buying 1-2 new games a month . Dirt is not that bad but mud and water destroys bearings in a snap if you dont get them cleaned but they are usually cheap 1-2 bucks a piece.

It is tons of fun even when your not racing but just to get outside and find some peaceful place to play :)

Nintendo is hosting a new livestream event on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. EST (3:00 p.m. PST), and this one is focused on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The publisher says it will reveal "50 new things" for the game, which will launch on November 21. It's...

I'm not much of a fighter fan. But I can appreciate the fan service with all the characters.

I'm just ready for some new stuff from Nintendo.

Wasn't the last one all about Smash as well?

Sorry Nintendo. But I have no interest in this.
Smash Bro.'s is pretty rare for a release. There's usually one one per console gen, but now they've entered it into the handheld market. It's not like Street Fighter where they make a whole series out of one sequel.
