Nintendo Direct Thread

Wish more Wii U titles had been announced but a good showing all and all.

Strong showing for the 3ds.

Wii games on the eshop, one step closer to getting Gamecube support ? Wii e-shop titles are $20.00 each but you can get them for $10.00 during the first week they are available. Hopefully they can add 2-3 titles per month.

Good thing I just bought the Metroid Trilogy :tounge:.

I remember playing one of the Galaxy games but never finished it as I ended up getting rid of the Wii. I've thought about picking up Galaxy 2 anyways and may still do it, otherwise I'll wait for the eShop version. Just a little uneasy about buying digital games in case the hardware goes to hell. They really need to have it assigned to your tag instead of hardware. Anyways, I'd be more interested in seeing the SNES DKC games show up on the Wii U to be honest.

Overall great looking first quarter of the year, and really it's not about not having the money, it's about not having enough time to play all of these games.

I'm pretty happy about Galaxy 2 and the prime trilogy. These past six months the Wii U keeps drawing me back, hopefully the next year will be even better!

Of course they announce Mario Galaxy 2 for the eshop 2'weeks after I buy a used copy for $25.oh we'll definitely buying Metroid Prime Trilogy and Punch Out.

Fire Emblem
Puzzle and Dragons combo
Pokemon Suffle
Splatoon
Kirby
Mario vs Donkey Kong
Story of Seasons
Ironfall
Ace Combat
Mario Party 10
Indie games (blek, elliot quest, gunman clive 2 and another one i cant remember the name)
Xenoblade 3DS
Xenoblade X
Majora's Mask
Fossil Fighters Frontier
Codename S.T.E.A.M
Etrian Mistery Dungeon
Namco secret project
Wii E-shop titles

+new 3ds and amiibo, probably one of their better directs I would say.

Everything they talked about is coming out this Spring :yteeth:

Damn I just bought Metroid Prime Trilogy for $40

Anyone that doesn't buy it for $10 should be shot

Damn I made out like a bandit at $35.

Also anyone that sees the Ness amiibo go up for pre-order please let me know. Call, text, email, carrier pigeon. Whatever it takes. If scalpers claim them all I will find them and I will kill them.

Because it needs the wii controls

Im saying they should have reworked it to make it worthwhile.

If I want to DL Galaxy 2, All I had to do was go through Wii mode. So the only advancement is that you can go straight through the U interface? Big deal.

I agree thats its not a great feature. Just a great price.

Not really sure how reworking the controls would have really worked. I get wanting to play on the gamepad but the controls work so well as it is.

True. That's a good point. But the world revolves around me damn it.

Will be passing on the New 3DS. Xenoblade Chronicles X looks amazing, my God.

I'm 100% passing on the New 3DS. There's really no compelling reason for me to get one. New Fire Emblem will run on the old one, so I'm good.

Wii games were never available for download. I bought Mario Galaxy 2 used for $25 2 weeks ago.

I waited so patiently for Fire Emblem that's out on 3DS to drop in price during Black Friday and Christmas, but still nothing. :(

You know now Nintendo is. Their games retain value for a LONG time. Sales are rare.
