So now it sold 0 on Xbox? But I bought a copy..

The devs themselves said over 2M and the key word is OVER

Could be 2.1 or 2.2 for all we know

Why does it matter that its selling better on Steam?

Because Xbox is obsolete and every game is going to PC obviously. Just Val doing what he does. Unlike him i can admit when Xbox does something right and funding Cuphead was the right thing to do. Microsoft has a hit on their hands. Don't matter where it sells.

Cuphead is coming to Mac and Linux as well. So since MS is allowing it on Steam, Windows, Xbox, Linux and Mac, I think they have their bases covered, and it allows them console exclusivity. Which is what I am told by gamers that they want.

BS gamers want to buy certain games on certain machines.
When a consumer/gamer looks to buy a game in many cases they take into consideration if the game is exclusive to a certain platform.

No they don't

They do. I bought Recore despite the fact i think Recore 2 is about as smart a first party investment as a sequel to Knack.

I also bought PUBG to spite GAAS haters. Nothing warms my heart more then a janky storyless online only shooter outselling their offline only enshrines 10 to 1.

Ok only massive fanboys do.

Right. I buy games that i want to play and that's the end of it. Always going to have the desire to own all 3 consoles. Early this gen multiplats were played almost exclusively on PS4. Now i'm playing them on Xbox One X but i don't have a problem playing them on the Pro. Same deal last gen.

Couldn't care less that i was supposedly playing broken PS3 ports. If i'm going to own a console for exclusives, i might as well get as much use out of it as i can. If i see a deal for a game and it's not the omgbestversionevah or just haven't played the console lately i might buy it for that reason alone.

I still like the idea of having exclusives to justify the purchase of a console at least. Then again if there weren't any exclusives I would just be 100% PC.
