There are tons of gameplay videos you can watch.

This is a good vid. 3d crowds in the beginning. Even with crappy Youtube compression it looks great.

I've also got to express my supreme joy that FH2 doesn't have the same ridiculous music that FM 5 has.

Yeah it looks damn good. But FM5 at first had those 3D crowds too. But i highly doubt so close to release that they would remove that, or that this would mean it was not running on Xbox One at E3 and Gamescom...naaaaah. Should be good. Cannot wait to play that demo, loooooooooove demos.

Seems rather rudimentary. Easy, but time consuming. All shall be mine

I have heard of:

Bombay Bicycle Club
Pixies
Janes Addiction
Cage the Elephant

LOL!

Great video. Not sure if I like the driving line to go off road though. People should have to figure out what are and are not safe shortcuts on their own or take the gamble. I hope the open world doesn't boil races down to a straight line from point A to B with the variation coming from a few surfaces changes that really don't have that much of an impact.

The racing line is optional.

Just read horizon 2 is 3 times the size of Horizon. Thats pretty massive considering. One thing I liked about the original was just cruising around and deciding to make any part of the world a racetrack when I felt like it.

You sure? Cause on this other Xbox forum someone said that based on the gps routes in videos it seems to be smaller than the first one.

Ok I tried out Forza 5 and its very nice but I am looking for something more Arcade racing like Project Gotham 2 was back in the day. Is Forza Horizons what I am looking for? My favorite racers back on the OG Xbox were PGR2 and Rallisport 2. I dug Forza back then but I also had way more time than I do now. Sadly PGR3 and PGR4 on the 360 never hit that sweetness for me that PGR2 had and DIRT 3 was good but no Rallisport 2.

What good racers are coming?

Then Forza Horizon is your game!

The best arcade like racers coming would be Forza Horizon 2 and The Crew. If you ever wanted to check out more SIM, like Forza, Project Cars is the racer to get.

How do I pre-order Forza Horizon 2 for the X1? I can't seem to find it on xbox.com using browser. Do I need to do it on my actual console?

It's really weird how little advertising Microsoft is doing. It's probably their second biggest exclusive of the holiday season, and it's nowhere to be found in the X1 store.

I was hoping they'd introduce an official wheel for the game too. Fat chance at this point.

So you're telling me there's no way to pre-order this yet...? And the game is due in 3 weeks? If so, big WTF.

No idea digital-wise, but I haven't been able to find the game via search in the X1 store when I've looked it up. I have it preordered through Amazon.

I hope they put it up in the next 2 weeks or so. I have $55 USD waiting in my account...
