*Official* Neverwinter Xbox One thread.

I have key but didn't get a chance to use it :(
Anyway it looks pretty kool in that video thx Nervusbreakdown
Sure the demo was fun, it had its problems but that was the whole point of the beta. I was on their official form and everything that I find wrong someone else already mentioned. So developers are already on the case to get ready for launch.

I played about 4-8 hours of this. Got my Great Fighter Dwarf to 10. Pretty neat but overall not sure. Combat is pretty boring and the loot is pretty boring so far. I liked how BIG it is and the amount of folks playing was cool. A lot more fun if you party up. Pretty boring alone.

Made myself a lvl 61 Half-Elf Cleric and yes there were frame issues, but all in all a fun game. Especially since I don't play PC games, this is very fresh for me.

I got a key on saturday night and i tried it out, i had alot of lag while playing, it was ok though i will consider it when it comes out of beta, i just wasnt super impressed with it but the gameplay was good though.

I know this game its not for everyone but as soon they fix the frame rate and lag this will be fun for free.

All I heard was "first quarter" 2015. I'm not sure if they meant the actual first quarter of the year or video game financial quarters. They are different. I assume they meant video game financial quarters. That would be between March/April/May then I believe?

Video game fiscal (financial) quarters I think are: Dec/Jan/Feb, March/April/May, June/July/August, Sept/Oct/Nov

Then there is a problem of course when playing these type of games. its withdrawal because now there is nothing else to play like this one. Back to busy work till then.

agreed. i had fun with this, will definitely check it out, when it returns

I have it downloaded, but I guess the beta was timed? The Play button is grayed out.

Never got a key so didn't play, but Nevus' vids make it look pretty fun actually. I'll probably try it out when it releases since it's f2p.

Xbox One Systems Spotlight: Professions

In Neverwinter, your gear and items play an important role in your character’s development and effectiveness in combat.
While there are several ways to obtain new and more powerful equipment as you adventure through the world, one fun and exciting avenue for creating your own items is through professions.

Learning to craft in Neverwinter is an easy task, but obtaining the true benefit that professions can provide will require some dedication.
Beginning at level 10, you’ll be able to choose a task from one of your crafting professions, hiring your first assets - Leadership Mercenaries, Platesmithing Miners, Mailsmithing Prospectors, Leatherworking Skinners, and Tailoring Weavers.
After that task is complete, you’ll continue to issue tasks to advance in your desired professions, sending your Mercenaries out on Guard Duty, requesting your Prospectors to Gather Iron Ore, or asking your Weavers to Gather Wool Scraps.

These tasks will take time, and when you’re just starting out, you’ll only have a couple of profession slots available for your assets to do your bidding, but over time, you’ll be able to master everything that professions have to offer.
As you complete tasks, you’ll gain experience points for your professions, along with profession resources and exciting rewards, such as Healing Potions, Leather Boots, Plate Armor, Enchantments, Skill Kits, Astral Diamonds, Gold, and more!

If you’re tight on inventory space, not to worry: your inventory has dedicated spaces for your professions’ assets and resources, which can all be sorted with the click of a button.
Additionally, your assets will continue to work on your profession tasks while you’re adventuring. With professions in Neverwinter, you can always have something in the works!
