Tribunal said everything but I'd like to add one more, GCN is likely to get more performance boost from DX12 than Maxwell. So it's going to get highly competitive with upcoming games.

This will be the case until Nvidia releases a driver that can properly utilize the asynchronis compute on Maxwell cards (i.e. the 900 series of cards.)
The Maxwell cards will see a boost, but again Nvidia has to release a driver for it because currently it is being done on the software side and it isn't as mature as AMD's offerings being that Asynchronis Compute is something AMD & GCN cards have had hardware implemented for several years now.

Information on it here...

Making me happy I didn't download win 10
I really haven't used it much. About the only thing this PC is used for is syncing music to devices or gaming, which I haven't been doing much of on PC lately. Other than the white screen issue I've liked what little I've used.

EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classifieds are out and I found a water block for them too. It's getting VERY tempting to order one now....

Anyone own a G-Sync monitor? Was thinking of buying one but they are definitely a little pricey.

My rig:

Man those cards are heavy....

Good thing I have a solid motherboard. Love ASUS and Gigabyte. They make the best motherboards IMHO.

You might want to look into getting or building a brace as I can see those sagging and will eventually warp the PCB's if it already hasn't occurred.

gave in and threw win 10 in.... wish me well
Windows 10 is actually okay. They fixed a lot of issues and added some nice features. However it still feels beta with a lot of simple things like the inability to permanently change mouse settings. It's frustrating just because it means I can't stop the start menu from randomly popping up with "the latest news on the Kardashians" and can't change mouse scrolling to a non-tablet setting. But the OS is a big step up regardless.

congrats but it seems kinda high

It does, but I had the money and my time going towards building one is limited. I need it for music purposes more than anything, it's a beast of a machine and it has the power needed for my heavy work loads. I know I'm overpaying, but I do plan to manually make upgrades as time goes on. I spend about 8 hours a day working in my studio after my day job, so this will be a most welcome change. Laptop wasn't cutting it anymore lol

What do you all think of this PC? I got my tax return and looking to upgrade.

These PC's are kind of limited in upgradability right? I mean the case is so narrow the GPU must be integrated.

Just glancing at the stats and pictures I think you have a full dedicated gtx 970 in there. Every critical part seem to be removable and up-gradable but in such a narrow case its going to be a pain in the butt getting everything back in there correctly.

The battle against GPU sag was hard but I eventually won...

I had to chronicle it so others might also win.

I bought one of these nice little brackets from Amazon..

....I then used a spare PCI bracket from my 760T to prop up my bottom 980ti. I'm actually quite surprised at how well it worked out. Eliminated the bottom GPU sag completely and I was even able to secure it to the bottom of my case by screwing it into an extra fan hole.
