Umm... you aren't disagreeing with me at all, you're simply ignoring facts and likewise have decided to add no counter point:

-PUBG already had a custom game system implemented last year
-PUBG already had a 4x4 map announced last year and it was either going to be an island map or the desert map (desert map ended up being the 8x:cool:.
-H1Z1: KotK already had emotes/dances three years ago
-H1Z1: KotK already had customizable parachutes years ago
-Brendan Greene was already talking about the new Game Modes he has planned last year (before Fortnite Battle Royale existed): Link 1, Link 2, Link 3 (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds interview: New modes, modding plans, and his meteoric rise).

That's literally all of your entire argument laid out shown to be baseless.

For your argument that the "influence is strong" we literally have to suspend belief and go to another timeline where none of the things I posted exist and then we have to pretend that Fortnite Battle Royale isn't a blatant ripoff of Epic business partners IP and then we have to pretend that you actually had some kind of valid argument.

Nah, nvm.. I'm just salty, right?

Yeah, we'll continue to agree to disagree. The PUBG 2018 roadmap just feels like its playing catch up to Fortnite. To each their own though.

Your argument wasn't that they're playing catch up, you were claiming that Fortnite was influencing their Roadmap and have again ignored evidence that claim is completely baseless.

That's a goalpost shift and literally no counterpoint.

Take care.

Oh no. That roadmap is a direct result of Fortnite. I may have been wrong on 1 item, but the others are legit.

For example, the smaller map turned out to be Miramar. Fortnite proved to Bluehole that players want higher density maps this...roadmap 2018.

How are the others legit? Site some sources or make an argument as to how the things I mentioned somehow don't apply.

Everything I mentioned in the previous responses to you were all actions, interviews, or features that are dated "Pre-Fortnite Battle Royale" ever being announced. None of that information I posted is even dated after standard base game Fortnite releasing (which is pre-Fortnite Battle Royale), yet PUBG is taking ideas from a ripoff game?

You clearly already know they were working on a 4x4 map, it was initially going to be Miramar, you're right on that which only shows that you already know they were working on a 4x4 design and it seems painfully obvious that they decided to make the island map the 4x4 map instead at the moment they changed Miramar to an 8 x 8. You are also correct that Bluehole feels 8 x 8 maps are better for their game mode, which is why they have two 8 x 8 maps released and another on the way, but to suggest they weren't working on a 4 x 4 map is clearly you just being disingenuous.

Man, mention Fortnite in a PUBG thread and people sure do get riled up.

Pravus, you're wrong on a few different accounts here. I'll update you later today. Just, enjoy the roadmap OK?

Don't bother, I think anyone already knows what to expect... "So my update is that I'm right, we'll ignore what you're saying since anything that happened prior to Fortnite and even the features that are in PUBG that I'm pretending I didn't read, doesn't count and I think you'll all agree that makes me correct!".

Just to save some time here, that's f***ing spot on, right? You probably already have that typed up but if not you can just copy/paste it from my post.

Some people are too emotional right now. I'll respond (with a bit more nuance than that) once everyone has settled down.

You could've tossed some nuance within any of your six replies since my first one to you; you haven't bothered thus far so it's safe to assume that was literally what you were going to say (with a bit more nuance). You seem to be confirming that to actually be the case, so like I said, don't bother.

It all comes off as highly telegraphed schtick regardless of whether you thought you were being subtle or not.

Fortnite is probably going to push them to need to release more content more often but beyond that its a dumb discussion

I actually lol’ed there. Great f***ing post man!

PUBG thread. Not Fortnite thread. Cut the s***.

Has anybody actually tried cutting sh*t? Messy business. Not to mention once you successfully cut the sh*t, you then have twice as many sh*ts to manage.

Happened to me couple nights ago while I was looking at my inventory. My friend crashed while I was driving us.

For me it seems like since the game started running better I’m having worse matches lol. I definitely win straight up gunfights more, but I’m finding it harder to make the top 10 in solo now for some reason.

I have zero luck recently, but I've taken a pretty big break from the game. Seems like I got rusty while the rest of the community is getting better.

I used to be almost a lock for at least a top 25 in FPP and top 10 was frequent. Lately though I'm getting ganked very early.

Got in the top ten twice today. Number 7 on the first and 10 on the second. The game is so damn tense! I can only play it a few times then I have to step away for a couple days.lol

Love it though.

I need to squad up with some of you guys. Maybe I would be less tense. Well as long as you don't bitch when I make a stupid mistake.:D

It is a lot like golf. I struggle game after game, but that one time you do it right it just is like no other feeling.

I finally got into the top 2 the other day. I'm prone in the grass with a sniper and a UMP. The other guy is running around like crazy, but I'm afraid to fire and miss. He has no idea where I am and has given up all patience. I follow him with my scope but he never stops. He gets close and I switch to my UMP and fire... and he headshots me and kills me instantly. #2...

Don’t be afraid to fire is the basic point here. I used to be very hesitant like that myself but now if I’m in the top ten I drop them when I can.

Well the moral of the story is - don't miss! :)

It shows though, I didn't like either gun I had. I would have much rather had an M16 or a Scar or something. I should have tried the sniper shot earlier but I don't think I've ever even used one in the game. I must have killed someone who got a supply drop or something.

Still was tons of fun. Every game is a learning experience.

I miss all the time! But in those situations it’s still better to take the shot. Eventually you’ll start getting your mark. Also the UMP is a great weapon at medium to short range but it a good AR is always king in the end game.

Tell me about it, f***ing up is my M.O. I've blown up my entire squad with a grenade twice so far.

1st time we were in Severny, fully decked out all lvl 3 s***, our favorite guns. We see a small war going on with three squads and we roll UAV in there action movie style, only I cooked a grenade but just as I went to throw it my game lagged hard for like three seconds... it never came out of my hands. BOOM. Free loot for everyone there, they probably all stopped fighting and joined hands to feast on the bounty.

It happened again just last night. We saw a few squads having it out near a crate where we could see the red smoke as well as a smoke grenade next to it in the distance The plan was to just run through, drop a frag as we passed. At full speed the driver runs through there aiming at the white smoke as a get away point.. My grenade goes flying and lands at their feet but a millisecond later the UAV comes to a dead stop. There were two vehicles parked inn the smoke. Lol. The enemies scattered, all three vehicles were blown up from that grenade that was essentially underneath the vehicle.

RIP.
