Was a guy pretending to be a girl. I remember the fallout. Grabbed some popcorn and laughed for days at the folks who defended her/him.

It was troll level 9000 with gullible awards dished out like candy.

I remember it was sometime during the original xbox lifetime but I don't remember the exact year.

I picked up OG xbox in february after it came out, signed up at TXB around that time....Really miss those days in the forum....Glad the community has stuck around :-)
 
Yeah, I'm kinda surprised we're still around, after 5 years. I don't think I expected us to last this long.

In all seriousness, this place is great. Small enough to have good conversations, just big enough to have varied opinions.

Bringing up a dead topic to say I was a TeamXbox member that transitioned to WeCraveGames, then NeoGaf, then found this place on accident when searching "teamxbox" on Google. My old user name was Sycomunkee. What a ride it has been!

I don’t feel like starting over at a brand new forum. This place is all I need. Only other place I go to is a gaming podcast discord they started. It’s a good big group of people that like to talk about games, tv/movies, and sports on the discord channels.
 
Started posting tat TXB when I was 16 (about 2006). Took breaks and such, but always wandered back eventually. So about 13 years.
 
I don't remember when I joined TXB. I chose 9-11 but it's almost certainly longer. maybe since like '05 or something, sheezus...
