I had to tear my foot off because the PS4 kept ejecting my disc at random intervals. I mean my Ps4's foot - the little rubber one -- not my own. That would be a little drastic.

Oops my PS+ sub ran out. Got a new credit card number earlier this year and never changed it. Not sure why Sony doesn't send an email saying I will be charged? Anyways haven't played much PS4 lately so might as well wait a while.
 
strange even when I buy the Plus cards and it turns on the renewal I get a email a few weeks before the sub I bought is about to run out and that it will charge my card for the next sub.
 
I just saw the new Gold/silver/steel/crystal PS4 controls! Any word on if they'll make the consoles to match? I want a gold one!
 
I never get the renewal notice from PSN either. It just charges me. But I know I get EVERY DAMN EMAIL RECEIPT FOR EVERY DAMN FREE AND PAID THING I get on PSN.

yeah I get the mails for when I get anything free from Plus as well no problems. I have not got any renewal notices cause right after I got the last one for a 90 day card I got in May I turned it off and then turned it off again when I got a 1 year. are you guys sure they are not going to the spam folder? they should email you when you are about to be charged for any renewal.
 
FYI to those who have bought the gray 20th PS4 controller or any brand new systems that come with a DS4, apparently these controllers no longer support non Sony licensed wired headsets with them (and older controllers via a fw update). I can do the voice commands on the home screens but once in game nothing no sound over headset and nobody can hear me talk. I can do voice party chat no problem but once in game nothing. I only paid 25 for my Turtle Beach wired set as it was a HUGE step up from the cheap POS that came with the PS4, looks like I am shopping for a better one in the near future :(.

Wow, that's pure BS if true. They are taking away the ability to use non-Sony headsets? That can't sit well with Turtle Beach, or any headset dev for that matter. Damn.That can't be right.
 
this comes from Sony support not by me but by others who have the newest variation of the DS4. I have not contacted support but I do know that when I was online in GTA Online or COD:AW it was like I did not even have it plugged in. but once I exited to the dashboard it worked again.

That doesn't even make sense. I have a 20th controller and am able to use any headset.....

I think this is a case of Sony support saying if it's not Sony licensed we don't care and will not support it.
 
well what games you playing with it as of now I only tried GTA O and COD AW and nobody was talking over the headset on my end you would think a big game with online play like that would have SOMEBODY talking over my headset? Maybe I was in a very quiet lobby I will try again later tonight. and I did not talk to sony that was what sony said in a post somebody made on the PS forum about not being able to chat via wired headset plugged into the 20th DS4 or any new DS4 (like the new 1TB model or the new Destiny bundle etc).
 
Soma is out tomorrow. It's described as a science fiction horror game.

Unfortunately it looks like it might be $30, which is pricey for an "indie" game. It's been in development for 5 years. Check out the GAF thread for more images.
 
Looks like a winner. My backlog is deep right now so I am going to make a note to pick it up when I run into a game lull. That is looking to be Feb '16 at the earliest.

I'm fine with that, though I'd put Last of Us remastered and Journey at the top, move Far Cry 4 up, add Tomb Raider remastered, then add Tales of the Borderlands and Life is Strange (the last two aren't complete yet, so I guess that's why they're not on there). Until Dawn probably deserves a higher spot, but I haven't played it yet, so I can't say. Same for Rocket League. Based on the feedback, that's been a surprisingly fun summer hit.

There's a lot to like there. And a minimum of 21 unannounced games.
 
When I look at the PS4 I see team of worldwide studios coming into the ascendancy. Naughty Dog? Always as brilliant as ever with TLOU: R and Uncharted 4 coming next year. Guerilla Games? Pushing the envelope with Horizon in a completely new genre and setting for them.Looks awesome. Evolution? Continuing to improve Driveclub and make it the best simcade racer on the market with no racer touching its visuals,sound design or track design. SCE Japan Studio? Thankfully back in a huge way.Knack was decent but the Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2 are titles which will be unlike anything else on other consoles.Can't wait.And if any are of their other rumoured stuff is true, oh boy. Media Molecule? Delivered Tearaway Unfolded which is a true gem. Dreams could be something special and crazy. Sucker Punch? Infamous Second Son was a damn good game and with more time they could make something special. Those are a just a few of the studio's. Polyphony Digital and Sony Santa Monica are top devs. Sony Bend have a chance to make a claim for their talent on their first console game (rumoured to be open world horror). San Diego can show they can do more than just the MLB. Heck, maybe Sony London will actually make an AAA open world game again this gen. It also seems that Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Guerilla and Media Molecule are still 2 team studios.There is so much to look forward to.

After playing Until Dawn i have to say it's a crime to not have it as a top 10 game. Or at the very least top 20. One of the few games that has kept me on the edge of my seat this gen and a must have for any PS4 owner in my opinion. Maybe wait until it drops in price if you're worried about the length, but everyone should play it. Or watch it.. If you want to hate and call it a movie game. :D
 
any NA players want a beta code fr Kill Stain? it wont work for me since im EU

its only on for two days so make sure you can fit these times if you want it: "Join the test on your PS4 on Thursday 10/1 and Saturday 10/3 from 5pm-Midnight PST"
 
Now you know the ps4 has no games when they start making an "unannounced games" list. :oops:
 
Just means plenty of surprises ahead.

I think FH2 is a better arcade game, but it doesn't have "tracks", it doesn't have better graphics than DriveClub. But we should be comparing them here. I was just pointing out that DC is a full blown arcade racer, not a simcade. Simcade would be like Forza, Gran Turismo, ProjectCars.
