This case is filled with 100 dollar Bills estimated to be 1/2 a million dollars and no doubt headed out to make another drug deal with perhaps the Columbia ns.

Each of these stacks of 100's holds USD250,000 (a quarter of a million US dollars)! They also had millions in Columbia n money and Mexican Pesos, although they preferred American dollars for the most part.
 
There were even stacks of Chinese Yuan found in one closet.

The money and valuables found in this one house alone, would be enough to pay for health insurance for every man woman and child in the USA for 12 years! It is estimated to be approximately 27 more of these houses in Mexico alone. Not to mention the ones in other countries who are enriching themselves in the drug trade. These people have so much money, they make the Arab oil sheiks look like welfare recipients. Their money can buy politicians, cops, judges, whatever they need they just throw down stacks of cash and it is theirs! This is why the drug problem is so difficult to fight.
 
Well. Now I know two things.

1 - What 22 billion dollars looks like.
2 - I chose the wrong profession.

Seriously, why in the f*** would you hide all that money in one place ? at the very least you put half that stash in the ground.

From pictures that I've seen this is the norm. Freezing assets is much easier and they need as much liquid assets as possible in case they need to bolt.

As funny as this sounds , if this is just from one stash house of the many tens of stash houses these drug lords are known to have spread out through the regions, then imagine how much money both the Mexican and US governments have piled up by "allowing" them to operate freely on both sides of the border and every once in a while they'll catch smaller fish which are still big fish but not as big as the big main drug lords to make it seem like they are fighting a drug war.

Both of these governments must make the money you guys see in these pics look like bubble gum money.

Really? You can't see the big deal about $200 million stuffed into walls, one of the biggest and most expensive gun collections on the planet, the stolen art, the exotic animals, or all the executions this guy was probably a part of?

Pharma companies are also filled with a lot of good hardworking people who have helped cure a lot of diseases, illnesses, and conditions that would have proven a death sentence just 40 years ago. Not to mention the life expectancy has almost doubled in the past 150 years with the help of modern medicine.

Big pharma is a very high risk, high reward industry. Many pharma companies spend and lose billions in the R&D process, and need a breakthrough drug in order to stay in business.

Comparing pharma companies to drug lords is just complete and utter nonsense. When was the last time a drug lord helped create a new vaccine or cure a disease? My grandfather would have passed away 10-times over by now if it weren't for the help of modern medicine/drugs.

Okay, but let's be honest. It's a business first. If there wasn't money to be made, they wouldn't be trying to cure sh*t.
