Because the new Fallout hasn't been announced yet. Then I think I could give you a run for your money. How can one want a game any more than I want this one?
But yeah, this game looks like it's going to be a blast.

I assume you're not going to be able to share your impressions? How does that work?
I agree with the guy who was commenting. Way too much ammo. Especially considering that rounds are only 3 minutes, which I'm not a fan of. One guy started with 300 rounds. Dang! That guys packing ten 30 round magazine. That doesn't include his secondary weapon ammo. I can understand they want people to feel they can shoot down barriers, but that's a ridiculous amount of ammo. I also want them to track how much you have in each mag. I remember in rainbow six 3, if you reloaded with 15 rounds still in you magazine, when you cycled around to magazine, it would still have just 15 rounds.
Guns need some more recoil too. Not a huge amount mote, but definitely more.
Game looks good, but not gonna lie....it looks kinda fast paced compared to old school rainbow six.
I haven't been following the game, so there's a lot I don't know about it....is this straight up FPS like old school rainbow six, or will they have third person view when up against wall like the more recent rainbow six (and I use the word "recent" loosely)?
I'm thinking they'll get it nailed down, but yeah they definitely have some work to do still.I agree with the guy who was commenting. Way too much ammo. Lol, standard combat load in Iraq was 210 rounds (at least in my Unit). Granted, you could carry more, but that's a lot of weight. I always used to joke that the ammo weighed as much or more than the armor! 300 is a lot for civie operations.I am willing to bet some for it changes from Alpha BETA to full game.
300 rounds, lol. Arnie had less than that to take down the compound at the end of Commando.

What weapons were you using, gatling guns....
Eh, M16/M4, mostly. It's not as many as you may think. It's not like games- you need lots of rounds for all of the missing that you do Hitting targets who don't want to be shot and who shoot back at you takes some ammo. You also have to factor supression techniques as well- which is where a lot of it goes. Gotta keep their heads down while you/your buddies maneuver.
"Gatling guns",lol, use thousands of rounds, which is why they are usually used on aircraft. If you are unfortunate enough to be sporting an LMG, you are looking at backpacks worth of ammo.
So, it seems this was not posted....
Little slower paced. However, I think it illustrates that 3 minute rounds really isn't long enough.
I would guess that in real life most of these types of encounters, once a go is given, probably do play out inside of 3 to 4 minutes.
