So, you're still waiting for greatness, tapping your fingers impatiently on your shiny new doorstop? Not much has changed around here.They won by a few thousand in a slow month for all consoles.
They are $50 and some places $100 cheaper or did you miss that?
It was over when the PS4 hit 10 million and it gets worse if Sony drops the PS4's price.
I am to lazy to re-post what they have coming this year which=a bigger and better lineup.

Bloodborne is the type of exclusive that oozes greatness.
I just do not see Sony dropping the price. They really have no need to. Even if MS won the rest of the year in the US, a decision to drop price would only really be needed if PS4 sales were significantly far behind.
It is in Sony's best interest to keep the price as high as they possibly can for as long as they can. The PS4 seems to be their biggest revenue stream right now.

I see Sony dropping the price along with MS doing the same. You will probably see it this holiday. At some point when the cost to build becomes cheaper and you can keep margins then that allows the price cut. At some point they all do. Every generation sees it. By the end you might see 1TB boxes for $250 or even $199.
Sony could drop the price but very unlikely to do so if it means taking a loss. Perhaps when the release a model using 14nm SoC, but by then MS would have done the same. The gaming division is the only one making some sort of profit for Sony and yet they are in the red. Taking a loss here would be madness.
I had this really strange dream where someone in this thread insulted the 22 or so million people worldwide who bought a PS4, basically called them idiots. I think it was inferred that they all bought it without games (no games exist, let alone good ones) so it must have been the entertainment features that appealed or something.

Well apparently people don't buy the Xbox One for gaming. So you're not missing out on much.
Yea. I must have it backwards. My ps4 is hooked up to my 60 inch plasma in my family room that provides awesome TV entertainment and my xbox one is hooked up to my Ben q 24 inch gaming monitor in my computer room . hmm maybe I need to switch that around sinse everyone keeps saying the xbox is an entertainment console and the e ps4 is for hard core gamers ????
Regardless of which console is selling the most, I will say this has been one of if not THE most interesting generation than any that's come before it. Unlike many who seem to just want a gaming console, I hope like hell next gen we dont go backwards. It just wouldnt feel right and would probably piss me off. That being said, I have no idea how some say things like, "these consoles are weak" or, "This generation has been a let-down and the games arent impressive." Even if the hardware isnt something to shout about, the games certainly are.
Witcher 3 is seriously impressive stuff. I've never seen an open world game of this size with so much detail. I think we're definitely getting our monies worth. f*** the sales, just keep bringing the games.

All jokes aside they are gaming systems with entertainment apps so I am not sure in what way they can go backwards. Sony and MS are playing it pretty safe right now.
Well no. That's not entirely accurate though. One is an entertainment system. The other is a gaming system with entertainment apps. Both pretty much do the same things, only one was created with all entertainment in mind.

But which is right and which is wrong? I bought my Xbox for everything it does including gaming. For me, that makes it an entertainment system as it was announced and marketed to be not to mention how it controls all of my electronics and fits perfectly inside my entertainment set up.One is right and the other is wrong
