My biggest issue getting thrown into the brig constantly. Too many dickheads playing the game.
Are you implying that if he’d just stfu he’d get thrown in jail less?Do you play with a mic?

I was just kidding.No. I find that in cooperative games like this, groups of two or three that have mics tend to grief players who don't.
Funny thing is the others were not talking. Don't know if they were in party chat or not. Either way I have a feeling this is going to be a haven for dickheads.No. I find that in cooperative games like this, groups of two or three that have mics tend to grief players who don't.
Everyone I've randomly played this game with has actually been pretty cool so far. Must be just good luck? I'm actually buying the game for a couple friends of mine, so hopefully I can play it with people I know, eventually.Funny thing is the others were not talking. Yeah, definitely good to have Rare back in it! SoT looks to be a success!I held off on the beta as they generally turn me off. Congrats to RARE though as it looks like they have a big hit on their hands. It looks like a return to form for one of the more iconic studios in the entire industry. When MS purchased RARE way back it was done for games like this and to cement themselves as a legitimate player in the gaming industry. It’s good to see them back.
It is. The beta got extended, so it runs until next Wednesday I think.Never thought the game looked appealing but would like to see if I am right or wrong.
Is the beta still available?
Yeah I am pretty picky.Just sit it out val- your take is a predictable as the sun rising. You will play it for 5 minutes, say you are out, and then call it name like Sea of Lame.
Can anyone tell us if there's ever a point where you really really don't want to die? In Battle Royale games, of which this reminds me of, there are tons of moments with really high stakes. Does Sea of Thieves capture a similar feeling?
This is nothing like a battle royale game.
So, I have played for over 6 hours and haven't seen one other person. I thought this was supposed to be a persistent, shared world?

That's pretty crazy. I wonder if the matchmaking wasn't working correctly. It seems the higher level I've gotten with the gold traders, the more people I see. When I first started, I would rarely see other ships. Now that I'm rank 15, I can always count on seeing at least on ship on the horizon, if not more. So, I have played for over 6 hours and haven't seen one other person.
