So I beat Ass Creed Unity

They've released a game each year since 2009. There were 2 different games released last year...

I'm holding off on playing Unity until the new AC game comes out. I figure that will help me avoid buying that game at full price. I do have high hopes for the next one though, you gotta think Ubisoft is going to go all out to make up for Unity. I just wish they would do a theme that is more interesting to me. The Japanese/samurai setting would be amazing.

I like Unity all right, but unless they shake things up a LOT, I will probably be skipping the next one.

New for 20 at Gamestop. Is it worth that and have they improved the PS4 version with patches?

I didn't know you could finish Ass Creed games. Thought you just ran around doing the same things until the soul crushing weight of map icons sent you fleeing, never to look back.

Personally I was never a someone who felt like it was absolutely mandatory that I eliminate each and every last icon from a map to feel like I got my value out of these type of games. I stopped playing Unity though, more because I wasn't feeling any sense of fun being had whilst playing it. The combat on this one is really killing it for me, and the wholly unnecessary restriction/ limitation of your skills & abilities. Terrible combat+ terrible skill gating = no more play

I like Unity all right, but unless they shake things up a LOT, I will probably be skipping the next one.

I'm thinking the same, but at the same time I think with Victory being done by the new Quebec studio hopefully it gets some fresh ideas injected into it. All I know is I'm definitely renting it first....

I feel like I don't even have much of a choice anymore, I'll buy the next AC at launch.

After Unity I tried telling myself I'd hold off, but chances are I will still pick it up at launch as well. Hopefully UbiQuebec can learn from Unity's shortcomings and come out strong with their first AC game. I already like the idea of the grappling hook or whatever he was swinging on in those leaked screens, I just hope they scrap literally everything about Unity's combat system...
