Sony E3 2016 conference (Mon, 6 pm pacific)

So Respawn just said that they'll be using Cloud processing on the PS4. They're using Amazon servers. I feel like this should be news.

My bet is that it's probably only a matter of time before we hear a partnership between Sony and Amazon for cloud processing. Cloud compute will be mainstream when Sony is ready to use it. When that happens, hopefully we see things like physics and particle effects scale up for multiplatform games...even in campaigns.
Nintendo also uses amazon servers :)

Days Gone looks good but can't help but wonder how an updated Syphon Filter would be like. Please Sony Bend.

Horizon is supposed to be Feb 28, I believe. I'd expect Detroit in late 2017, God of War maybe around the same time, but that's just a guess.

The wait is fine with me. I thought about this some more and did some calculations. If you lined all these games up for me to play, all the ones I'm interested in, it would literally take me almost 2 years to get through them all. And that's just counting the games from Sony -- it's not counting all the multiplatform games I'm interested in, and it's not counting my backlog. So, I have absolutely no problem with these games taking their sweet time in getting here. Even if they all came out in the next month, it would still take me years to play through them.

I'm with you. I'd have enough games to play if i was PS4 only, and then some. Between both consoles and my backlog i'll never run out of games. I just feel like it's worth pointing out that we won't see most of these games for awhile. One thing about Sony exclusives though, the wait is always worth it.

Here's a PS4 exclusive indie that didn't get much attention, but which I liked: Bound.

Hold on to your d*cks, boys. You play as a dancer.

The art design is inspired by modern art and 19th century impressionism. If you like artsy games, it doesn't get more artsy than this.

"Bound is a 3D platformer designed for people with the desire to concentrate on the narrative side of games and experience a mature story. On the other side of the spectrum, Bound is also being prepared for hardcore gamers looking for the challenge of one big puzzle that can be only solved by a community of players working together."

[...] "This means ultra-sharp anti-aliased 60 Hz in 1080p resolution. We have spent more than a year on optimizations, just to deliver you a game that will squeeze the most of your PS4."

Dead.

Is crash a PS exclusive? They simply said it was coming to PS but Activision still own the rights.
