I'm contemplating getting the first one, it has a 8.5 on GS, D2 has a 7, and I really am not into the cell shaded art style.

The first Darkness was awesome, definitely worth $5. Never played the second, although I've heard it's good too.

Looks like Best Buy is starting a new video game program. $120/2years, 20% off new titles, 10% bonus trade in credit and 10% off used games. Doesn't look like the worst thing if you wanna be stuck shopping at Best Buy and you buy lots of new games.

I saw this earlier. I am disappointed in the change. I believe i paid $19.99 to be in the gamer club this year but i received $10 or $20 in reward on just about every game i bought new. I typically buy 5-7 new games a year, do not trade games in at BB, and generally buy my used games at whoever has the best price. So under this new plan i wouldn't see a real benefit until mid 2015 at best. Plus, i would be tied to just Best Buy. I understand why BB did the changes but unless you're a heavy new game buyer- i would say closer to 7-10 a year, i do not think the benefits are really there.
The only benefit I see is the 20% off new games. Now, I've never checked BB used game prices so they may be better than Gamestop, but at least gamestops membership is $15/year, comes with something to read on the toilet (game informer) and builds points that can be used to get money off games, consoles and accessories.
And 10% off used games too. As much as GS sucks the membership is pretty decent for the price.
Yeah, that's why I mentioned the only benefit for BB was the 20% off new games. W/GS you get 10% off new and +10% trade-in, you also get special deals occasionally where you get +20% trade in and sometimes +50% trade-in even though it's not for everyone, just PUR members.
You still get a 10% discount on trade in and used games through BB. I still think they're doing the @GAMER magazine, but that doesn't even come close to gameinformer.

I can't remember which SS it is that Mommys Best Games made, but it looks like a re-skin of their game Weapon of Choice, which is a pretty fun Contra style indie game. Might be worth a look

You guys should definitely, definitely play RE4. It's one of my favorite games of all time, easily. Word of friendly advice; don't just stand there shooting and allow yourself to get surrounded/hit. Position yourself, pop off some shots, re-position yourself, pop off some shots, etc. The game is meant for this style of tense, almost strategic confrontation, not running-and-gunning. The controls might take a bit to get used to, but they totally work for the purpose of the gameplay it wants to create. Oh, and read the instructions, especially the technique of how to stagger enemies and "kick' them - very, very useful.

Anyone else get in on some of the deals at Walmart.com this morning? Picked up BF4 for $18 and an electric guitar and bass guitar as well.
