1. Buy the PS4 versions of muti-plat titles you want on XB1
2. If not multi-plat then just buy anything for PS4
3. Wait a week for XB1 games to be released
4. Exchange said PS4 games for XB1 games.
5. WIN!


I used to do this with the TRU B2G1F sales. If they didn't have anything I wanted or the sale was <30 days before games I wanted were to release I'd get 3 games I knew wouldn't depreciate in price too soon then exchange them when the games I wanted were released.

Dishonored is this weeks deal of the week on XBL. The main game is $10 and DLC $5

Was thinking of dl'ing it, anyone play it? Looks pretty good, reviews were good too

I'm playing it right now...finished the prologue and almost done with the first chapter....It's pretty good, but I have to admit that I'm having a hard time getting into it. It can be a little slow at times....I'd also be interested in what other people that have finished it think....

Hopefully the whole game isn't to slow. Worth the $10 though?
 
Well yeah...I paid $20 for it and don't feel any remorse. Fundamentally, everything seems solid....graphics aren't mind blowing, but it's nice to look at.
 
Walmart has Xbox One and PS4 games for $49.99 including Dead Rising 3, COD Ghosts, Battlefield 4.
They also have Disney Infinite all systems at $37.00, I'm going to pick up the Wii U version for my daughter.
 
Red Flag Deals is showing all the Canadian Black Friday ads. Pretty odd since our thanksgiving was over a month ago. lol.

Lots of 360/PS3 deals. Not so much X1/PS4. But for those of you still looking for next gen deals....

Costco Canada has various next gen games in-store at $52-57. So a tad below $60. I know AC4 is $52, F5 is $55 and CoD/BF are $57. Also, $50 XBL cards are $45. I know this first hand as I bought CoD/BF4 and a $50 card on the weekend.

RCSS is having a no tax event starting Friday. Their ad does not show next gen systems so I'm not sure if they even have them yet, but if they do you may be able to score a system and not pay tax. XBL 12 month cards are $40 too in the same ad. I'm going to grab a few to cover myself off for 2 years. It's like paying $35+tax. Can't get much cheaper than this.
 
Dell.ca has (had) 12 month gold cards for $30. Bought two myself yesterday. The deal is dead, but you never know if it'll pop up again.

I was so tempted to get Disney, I saw it a couple different times this week for $37. I am waiting for an Xbox One port, they should have already done this!

I wish the Xbox One dashboard had some Black Friday deals
 
Man did I ever fvck up. Astro has the a50's on sale for $225 ($75 off) and free shipping. Problem is I spent all my current "mad money" and the sale ends tomorrow. Had I known about this sale I would have held off on my SSD, bought these then got my SSD on friday when I get paid.

Oh well, I'll get em soon anyway, I just hate the idea of spending almost $100 more on them.

For what it's worth Dishonored is one of my favorite games this gen. Amazing atmosphere and gameplay. A true gem. The two main dlc packs are awesome as well and the other two are worth it at the sale price.

Oh and the reason the first chapter can feel slow is because you don't have any abilities or good weapons yet, and are basically running and hiding.
 
My only problem with Dishonored was that I got about, oh.... 60% through the story and I already had all the abilities there are to get (unless some are found and not part of the initial skill tree(s)). Other than that I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's one of those games I put on hold to restart when I finish my PC tomorrow.
 
Toys R Us is having a buy one get one 40% off on their website right now, will have the same sale in store starting Sunday.
 
May or may not be a good deal but Amazon is going to deal lightning deals on BF4 and NFS:R in less than an hour today and FIFA14 and Madden25 about 6 hours later today. Deals are for both X1 and PS4 versions.

My guess would be $49.99 which they have been listed for before but ya never know.

Shoppers Drug Mart has $20 off a $75 purchase coupons in every newspaper this week. I may try scoping out some SDMs. Will be tough as only some carry games and even fewer (if any) even carry next gen gaming stuff. There's a few on the way from me. About 3-4 within a 5 minute radius. Worth checking.

If I see Forza 5, I'll grab $15 worth of some chips and pop. lol
 
Target Canada has X1 games with a $20 gift card. Some people on forums are saying you may be able to get the clerk to apply it right away when you buy it. Probably shouldn't be that way, but some clerks don't know better.
 
Anyone play Little Ninjas? It doesn't look to hot, though for a buck I might be willing to give it a shot w/my son...
