Rumors sarah sanders is leaving at the end of the year. I also just found out she's 36 years old. I would have sworn she was late 40's.

When you live your life full of negativity and stress, you tend to age quicker.

The extra 60 pounds probably doesn't help either.

I think the two best options for dems to run, if no unsung, spectacular candidate emerges in the next year are...

Option A: Biden and Beto
Option B: Sanders and Beto

A heavily Republican Florida county allowed some residents to vote by email, apparently illegally

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) jumped into the GOP pile-on of Broward County elections supervisor Brenda Snipes on Monday, tweeting that "there is no question ... Snipes failed to comply with Florida law on multiple counts." Snipes, first appointed by Bush, has made some errors, but state law enforcement and election officials have found no evidence of illegal behavior by Snipes, and on Monday a judge ruled against Gov. Rick Scott's (R) motion to impound the voting equipment in heavily Democratic Broward County.

In heavily Republican Bay County, however, election supervisor Mark Andersen acknowledged Monday that he had allowed some voters to cast their ballots over email, which is not allowed under state law.

Bay County was hit hard by Hurricane Michael on Oct. 10, and Scott issued an executive order on Oct. 18 extending early voting and expanding more voting locations in the eight affected counties. His order, The Associated Press reports, explicitly prohibited votes being returned by email or fax. Andersen defended his decision to let 150 people scan their ballots and email them in, telling NBC affiliate WJHG/WECP, "If you want to turn around and take away these votes away from voters because it's not the normal prescribed issue, I would just say you ought to be ashamed of yourself because what we did is take care of voters."

Len Blavatnik donated $3.5 million to Mitch McConnell's PAC from 2015 to 2017.
Ukrainian-born billionaire Len Blavatnik, who holds dual U.S.-U.K. citizenship, used to be a fairly run-of-the-mill campaign contributor, donating relatively modest amounts in a bipartisan fashion — and then the 2016 election cycle hit.
Beginning in 2015, Blavatnik lavished contributions on Republicans, with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell alone on the receiving end of $3.5 million between 2015 and 2017.
Via Dallas News:

Blavatnik contributed a total of $3.5 million to a PAC associated with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. Blavatnik contributed $1.5 million to the GOP Senate Leadership Fund PAC in the name of Access Industries and another $1 million in the name of AI-Altep Holdings during the 2015/2016 election season. And as of September 2017, he had contributed another $1 million this year through AI–Altep.
Blavatnik, whose family emigrated to the U.S. in the late 1970s, is a longtime business associate of Russian oligarchs Oleg Deripaska and Viktor Vekselberg, both of whom have ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Along with McConnell, Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham received hefty sums from Blavatnik as well.

“FOX News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential. We intend to file an amicus brief with the U.S. District Court. Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized," Jay Wallace said, Fox News President.

One of the best things about Twitter is being able to reply to Mitch's tweets with "f*** off" or similar.

Avenatti Arrested for Abuse

sorry, can't resist alliteration
"The alleged victim in the case had visible injuries, according to Officer Tony Im, a police spokesman. But Avenatti slammed the allegation as "completely bogus" and "fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation" in a statement released by his law firm.

Avenatti, who has said he's mulling a 2020 presidential run, posted $50,000 bail and was released about four hours after he was arrested Wednesday on the same block where he lives in a skyscraper apartment.

Police declined to provide any details about the alleged victim, including that person's relationship to Avenatti.

As he left the police station Wednesday, Avenatti said he had never hit a woman and said he's been an advocate for women's rights his entire career."

Doubt about that 2020 run. Even if this is false, dude hasn't done anything lately. Gotta stay fresh in the peoples mind.

Crazy.

He should not run for presidency even before this. I really don't want celebs or pseudo celebs mucking up the dems presidential candidate field. We need someone with clear policies, vision, integrity, and some experience.

True or not he would have no chance

Avenatti would need to run as a Republican so we could have some fun watching the primary debates with him and Trump. He would never get to do that if he ran as a Democrat cause he would not be the candidate to face him in the general.

I'll wait to see what happens with the Avenatti thing, but from what little I've read the initial reports said it was his wife (maybe ex-wife?). Then she came out and said that it wasn't her. So maybe a girlfriend or something? Also, Surefail Intelligence is claiming they were the ones that brought this to light so yea...

Either way, he's a no go "candidate" even before this.

Yep, Avenatti doesn't matter. He was clearly looking for his 15 minutes of fame doing the laps on the Stormy Daniels thing.

Funny thing about the Stormy "scandal" is that you can't actually have a scandal unless the person involved was looked highly upon for their morals. When it comes out that Trump banged a porn star and paid her off, all while his wife was recovering from having their kid, nobody even denies or questions it.

I do get a laugh from all the Republican pundits saying our 2020 hero is now tainted. Literally no one wanted Avenatti to be the frontrunner.
