I like Bernie personally, but worry about him as a candidate. Just watch any part of his debates against Hillary in the primary. The guy has a lot of great high level ideas, but the moment you hammer him on details, he folds. Hillary pretty much shredded him in every debate. Go watch some old clips and see what I mean.
From a strategy standpoint, I think you play into the Republican's hands by saying "socialism". While the average joe middle class voter should like Bernie's message, the GOP has done too good a job of poisoning and twisting it.

Forgot that trump was answering Mueller’s questions this week. He probably sfinally saw them after his lawyers answered them for him and they had to show him. He got frightened at what the questions alluded to what the special council knows.

(CNN) Federal judge Timothy J. Kelly sided with CNN on Friday, ordering the White House to reinstate chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta's press pass.
The ruling was an initial victory for CNN in its lawsuit against President Trump and several top aides.
The lawsuit alleges that CNN and Acosta's First and Fifth Amendment rights are being violated by the suspension of Acosta's press pass.
Kelly did not rule on the underlying case on Friday. But he granted CNN's request for a temporary restraining order.
This result means that Acosta will have his access to the White House restored for at least a short period of time. The judge said while explaining his decision that he believes that CNN and Acosta are likely to prevail in the case overall.
Kelly made his ruling on the basis of CNN and Acosta's Fifth Amendment claims, saying the White House did not provide Acosta with the due process required to legally revoke his press pass.
He left open the possibility, however, that the White House could seek to revoke it again if it provided that due process, emphasizing the "very limited" nature of his ruling and saying he was not making a judgment on the First Amendment claims that CNN and Acosta have made.
Out of all the races, the Cisneros/Kim one will be one of my favorites for sure if he pulls it off. Back when races were being called for first black woman from X elected, or first Muslim, etc, there were people commenting on Reddit about why no one was doing the same for Young Kim being first Korean American woman. Plus the fact she tried crying about counting all the votes etc means she can f*** right off.
I don't know about you guys but it's really pissing me off when I see people on twitter saying "If you want Pelosi gone you are sexist or ageist" etc I want her gone because she doesn't fight for the little guy, she's better than a republican but we should expect more from democratic leadership than just someone who raises a lot of money.
Yeah it would be nice to have some fresh face to lead the way but who is that? You don't exactly see people lining up to get the job and for good reason. You have to actually want to be speaker. Whoever gets the job will have to deal with the smear machine on the right and claims they didn't enough on the left no matter what they actually do. Should they try to force someone into it like Paul Ryan who was ineffective for the GOP?
The ones who are claiming to want the job are to Pelosi's right not left. Pelosi is effective. Its Schumer that sucks.
Pelosi is most effective at raising money, I honestly don't think we'd have gotten the house back had anyone but Trump been president. Both Pelosi and Schumer need to go IMO. A lot of justice democrats want Pelosi gone and they are to her left, they are a new group though so they won't have the votes. I think a lot of the reason people aren't stepping up at the moment is them wanting to be sure they have a shot at winning before putting their necks on the line. If they challenge her and lose you know they are going to pay a price.

Its nonsense that you can't challenge her. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez staged a protest outside her office about climate change and it was successful. Thats what they can do. Force her to adopt positions they want.
If someone challenges her and loses they'll be saying goodbye to certain key appointments etc, things go on behind the scenes.
I think people are over-thinking Pelosi. The GOP hates her. They ran entire campaigns against her in the House... and lost the House.

In case anyone missed the latest facebook scandal. facebook hired a Republican opposition firm to go after liberal activists who went after facebook and smeared them by saying they were paid by soros. Schumer asked the top democrat on the Russian intelligence committee to layoff facebook. Zuck and Schumer need to go.
Yea until there is more viable replacement its best that Pelosi is the speaker for the moment. Maybe someone from the freshmen class after they get some experience, I can total see AOC as speaker one day. That should be the strategy for now, force her toward policies the people want.
