This interview was pure insanity. Florida should be ashamed that they elected this person. I'm torn at Cuomo giving this person airtime. On one hand, this buffoonery needs to be heard. On the other hand, the fact that people actually believe Gaetz, including some of his fellow republican politicians, shows that it's influential.

How can you have dialogue with someone like Gaetz? How can you have dialogue with people who believe what he is saying? How can the be dealt with? I don't think they can be. What these people are saying is a security concern for our country. This nonsense is right out of the soviet union propaganda playbook.

Cuomo was dead on. They put stock in a random text with no context, but words straight from trumps mouth about him sexually assaulting women, trump jr. meeting with soviet operatives to undermine an election, trump administration taking funds from the soviet union and it's allies, is fluff.

These people are not right in the head. They shouldn't be allowed to serve in public office. They are on the level of alex jones. It's pure insanity. We can't let this type of conduct continue. They are a national security nightmare.

The Justice Department stands up to a reckless Republican

It’s about time. After suffering mostly in silence as Republican political hacks and Fox state TV threw one wacky allegation after another in their direction, after President Trump slurred and demeaned FBI employees, after Attorney General Jeff Sessions failed to muster the courage to rebut baseless accusations against prosecutors and the FBI, and after a United States senator laughably accused the FBI of harboring a “secret society” (note to Wisconsin: You can do much better than Republican Sen. Ron Johnson) the professionals at the Justice Department decided they had endured quite enough.

On Thursday, Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd — a political appointee — sent off a letter to the conspiracy addicted Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Callif.). CNN reported:

The Justice Department warned Wednesday that it “would be extraordinarily reckless” for the House intelligence Committee to release a classified memo publicly “without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum,” and to “advise” on possible harm to national security and ongoing investigations from its public release. …

The letter asks “why the Committee would possibly seek to disclose classified and law enforcement sensitive information without first consulting with the relevant members of the intelligence community.”

Boyd wrote that the Justice Department has turned over more than 1,000 pages of classified documents to the committee “relating to the FBI’s relationship, if any, with a source and its reliance, if any, on information provided by that source.”

The memo in question is one drafted by Nunes, one he refuses to show his fellow committee members and which is now the subject of an active social media campaign (#ReleaseTheMemo) led in part by Russian-related Twitter accounts.​

We asked Trump's lawyer and the lawyer says, "no comment" so therefore the story is made up.

Of course we all know that obstruction of justice is just "a distraction". Trump fired one person investigating him and was going to fire a 2nd but lucky for him one of his zookeepers stopped him. Some distraction... that's the definition of obstruction of justice.

By the end of Monday, the Treasury must send Congress a list of rich Russian business figures and detail their ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

US President Donald Trump reluctantly signed the legislation last August that ordered the report, even though US investigators believe he was the main beneficiary of Russian meddling.

"We do think that this is a direct and obvious attempt to time some sort of action to coincide with our elections in order to influence them," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on a telephone conference call Monday. "We disagree with this, and we are sure this will have no influence."​

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has told FBI staff he is stepping down effective Monday -- a move that surprised even those expecting his March retirement, sources tell CNN.

McCabe was a central target of President Donald Trump's ire toward the FBI over its involvement in the investigation into potential collusion between his campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.

He was eligible to retire in March, but with his accumulated leave, he was able to step down earlier.​

Usually don't watch the news, just read it throughout the day, but watching Don Lemon right now. s*** is crazy surrounding the memo.
 
So many guilty people. So many complicate people. They’re all guilty. They have to live with this for the rest of their lives. Nunes is a downright piece of s***. f*** him. f*** anybody that sides with him. I’ve aaid it before, there’s no sense of threat towards these people. They don’t care because nobody will take their money, remove them, whatever. What need to happen is their family need to have the threat. Then maybe they would stop the lying and destroying of America. If their families livelyhood, freedom, is being threatened, then maybe they wouldn’t be lying, day in and day out, for one of the biggest pieces of s*** walking the earth today.

The fact they’re not allowing democrats to release a memo, while nunes is allowed to, is complete horses***.
