And apparently also said the money (which he of course said before he didn't know where it came from) didn't come from election funds. Meanwhile, Pruitt's testifying at Congress and those raises that were approved over WH objections that he didn't approve and didn't know who approved them, were now apparently approved by his Chief of Staff at his request.

Apparently, the only time it's wrong to lie is if it's about a blowjob, because only Democrats can get those.

I can't tune in. So he admitted raises were approved by Kelly?
 
This is the real danger of the Trump era. Facts don't matter. Let's just all buy gas guzzling trucks and not even bother with normal cars anymore? What could possibly go wrong???

Yea no thanks on the CUV/SUV/wtfUV they want to call it. I'll stick with with a fuel efficient car and most likely stay with a Japanese brand.

I can't remember if I posted it here or not, but there was an article on Jalopnik about people taking out 7 year loans on pickup trucks. 7 years!

I can just picture people signing a 7 year car loan and then loading the back of it up with MAGA stickers.

People can disagree politically, but these people are just living in a false world. People like this aren't middle class, they are one bad month away from bankruptcy. What if gas goes back up to $4+ a gallon again in the US? You're anchored for 7 years to a gas guzzler.

7 years... I have a 15 year mortgage on my house FFS.

Trump also deserves no real credit for bringing North Korea in line. He used the exact same sanctions that every other President used to bring NK to the table.

Also, it is reported that one of their bomb test sites blew up and collapsed. So, them "giving up" on their program is likely just the fact that it is buried under a mountain right now.

Their "only" bomb testing site. And yes, trump gets no credit. Not sure how anybody can give him any credit?

House Intelligence Committee Republicans release final Russia report

House Intelligence Committee Republicans released a redacted version of their final report from a year-long probe into Russia’s “multifaceted” influence operation, which accuses the intelligence community of “significant intelligence tradecraft failings” in determining that the Kremlin interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump.

The report generally absolves Trump and his associates of wrongdoing, finding “no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded, coordinated, or conspired with the Russian government.” The report does, however, criticize both the Trump and Clinton campaigns for “poor judgment and ill-considered actions,” such as Trump campaign officials’ decision to meet with a Russian lawyer offering compromising information on Hillary Clinton in Trump Tower in June 2016.

It also criticizes the Obama administration for a “slow and inconsistent” response to mounting Russian threats.

The report finds that advisers Trump brought into his campaign were either not acting on Trump’s behalf or unsuccessful in their efforts to pursue ties with Moscow, even though one of those individuals, George Papadopoulos, has admitted to lying to the FBI about his campaign outreach to the Kremlin. The report brushes aside the significance of a troubling meeting in June 2016 at Trump Tower involving Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, campaign manager Paul Manafort and a Russian lawyer with ties to the Kremlin, saying that the meeting never led to the exchange of any useful information from Moscow.

It goes on to assert that apparent efforts by the campaign and Russia to set up a “back channel” after the election were, counterintuitively, evidence that there was not earlier collusion.

In contrast, the report goes after government agencies, private investigators and media outlets that pursued information on Trump’s ties to Russia. It faults the FBI and the Obama administration for failing to adequately respond to Russian campaign interference.

More at the link. Can't say I'm surprised by this. The best part about this being an old report, is that not only have we seen new information come to light that contradicts what they found, I'm sure it will continue to happen. Then of course either just straight up lying or continuing to support Trump/Russia instead of our own intelligence agencies. Also the part about Obama not doing enough lol. I think we all know what would have happened had Obama announced the issues prior to the election.
