I think Rosanne thought she was in a bar watching the game on TV.
Start a new show called Darlene. I bet people would go for it.
An interesting read on Sweden and how they are becoming more prepared for war.
Trey Gowdy continuing his make amends tour prior to leaving congress.

I think I've exceeded my bandwidth on all my facepalm gifs by this point.
What kills me is if a Democrat suggested this, it would be anti-freedom and anti-free market, but when Trump does it, it is somehow a good idea?

European and Japanese car makers employ more than a million US workers. Yes, lets cause job losses for Americans!Scratching my head at even the thought of this. Not only will this affect the plants here, but it'll affect whatever the EU decides to counter-tariff.
Edit: Just also saw the steel tariffs for Mexico and Canada. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Well if you're like a previous coworker of mine (happens to be conservative what a coincidence) then even though foreign manufacturers build cars in the states, the "profits" are still going back over seas. Uh ok well domestic manufacturers build or buy a lot of stuff from other countries. I'd rather we have people with jobs here building the cars.European and Japanese car makers employ more than a million US workers. Yes, lets cause job losses for Americans!
It's no different than GM and Ford storing the overseas profits outside of the US.Well if you're like a previous coworker of mine (happens to be conservative what a coincidence) then even though foreign manufacturers build cars in the states, the "profits" are still going back over seas. Edit: I don't even know if this statement makes sense. Anyways he is more worried about upper management getting those profits vs the regular employees actually building the cars.
The global economy is complicated... it isn't as simple as "foreign cars".
The reason American cars don't sell well overseas? Because we still crank out gas guzzling monster vehicles as if gas is never going to go up. Guess what? Europeans don't want a massive pickup truck.
Ford is stopping producing almost all their cars and only focusing on trucks. Really? I'm watching gas prices jump 10 cents every damn day and they are pumping out bigger vehicles?
We Americans want trucks with 72 month car loans (6 years!) that get terrible mileage, then act shocked when the price of gas goes up.
As with most Trumpers though, it is always someone else's fault.
Remember, low unemployment is good, but it is only part of the big picture. Wages are still largely stagnant, and that's indicative of a real problem - underemployment. People are working, but probably a lot in jobs not paying as well. Basically you see a lot of overqualified people in lower positions, keeping wages low.
