tl;dr: Montana Public Service Commissioner Bob Lake was caught on a hot mic stating that cuts he made to rates and contracts offered to solar energy projects are likely deep enough to kill future development. Northwestern Power asked for these cuts because too many third-party renewable-energy developers were installing solar due to historically low prices. By federal law, the commission’s actions were supposed to promote renewable energy.

The Trump tweets are totally calculated and meant as a distraction. Trump is a lot of things, but he's not an idiot and knows how to handle a crowd. This gets the headlines off of the health care bill for a few days and back onto him. He tweeted rude stuff, so what? That gives congress a breather to get out of the spotlight for a few minutes.

This is meant to not only distract his critics but also Republicans who will be losing their healthcare. Now, they'll all flock to him as he's the "victim" of the "big, bad liberal media machine".

On one level you may be right, but if you are then he's done himself and his party a great disservice and also a great deal of damage in terms of having to both defend and and support his statements. I know I wouldn't be a good spokesman for him if I was a republican congressman right now. The foolishness just keeps adding up and if you stick by him there's no guarantee that he won't turn on you later. Especially if you should take a critical view of his insane tweets.
 
I swear ever since Obama got into office all people do is bitch and moan and complain..All the trump bashing is getting old, he's president now..just accept it..

He;s really, really sick in the head. Maybe someone should ask Paul Ryan where is the line where he considers him unfit for presidency. He needs to be removed due to mental unfitness immediately.

No. This is not normal.

This is not politics as usual.

Trump is dangerous and embarrassing.

People complained about Obama, Bush before that. That was mostly politics.

This is way more. I voice my objections now. Come the mid term elections I am going to make an effort to get people out to vote. The saddest part of the Trump thing is that the majority of people still didn't vote.

When the elections get closer, I am going to volunteer my time to get people registered and voting.

In the meantime I will never be silent and accept that this moron is our president.

If we had voter turnout of 75% or more, I'd accept the results. We barely get 50% turnout though and that's the problem. The people who sit back and say "bah politics" and don't vote are almost as bad as the people voting for Trump.
