Yup, and I plan on seeing if its as good as the first game. I know there are some story elements some didn't care for. But I'm more interested in the tense, fun and engaging game play I remember the first one for.Digital version is on sale for $30 now.
I just started this game last night. Dayum, this is a very pretty game. I'm surprised it didn't melt the PS4.
I'm playing using the Sony Pulse Headphones and those Clickers are freaking me out. And I also get a bit squeamish when I hear that gargling sound after using a knife for stealth takedowns. It makes me squirm in my chair, lol.
I have one complaint this early on though. I don't like Elle's I guess you can call it rebellious attitude. She just seems angry and child like. I know she's young but I would have thought the experiences she's been through up to this point would have matured her more. In this case her anger is directed towards something that has not been shown, at least not yet. So her anger could be justified and I hope I get more context as the game unfolds.
This game reminds me of Red Redemption 2. Two totally different games but they share one thing in common. A high degree for details not found in most games. The story is proceeding slowly but I can tell its setting things up to be a rollercoaster of emotions. I kind of spoiled something major for myself when I went looking for reviews and impressions and I'm dreading seeing it play out when I get to it. I can't wait to jump back in after work.
Yeah, unfortunately all those details come at a cost. We only get one game per generation from Naughty Dog. A shame really but the wait for their games is always worth it.Still one of the best looking console games out there even as a last gen title. It's all in the details.

Plus Lost Legacy. Pretty good output but I doubt they match it this gen.We got The Last of Us Remastered at beginning of PS4 gen, Uncharted 4 mid gen and The Last of Us 2 end of gen.
Would I have liked more than what we got? Sure! But I would rather they take their time developing their games perfectly the way they want it.
Games are just taking longer and longer to develop these days.
I should have made it clear I was exaggerating. We got The Last of Us Remastered at beginning of PS4 gen, Uncharted 4 mid gen and The Last of Us 2 end of gen.

They take their sweet time when it comes to releases much like Rockstar. But for ND it seems to work for them and Sony seems pleased with them as well because their games make lots of money.
Multiplayer announcement or bust.
Still the one of the best if not the best animations in the industry.
In most places it looks great, in others not so much. The sudden transition to the backward slide on the ground is a bit jarring.

It’s good. But far from the best. But the way she reels in ropes is good.
