Saw on ESPN yesterday about that black player making the game winning goal and then fans ripping him with racist remarks on Twitter. WTF! With one racist thing going on in the NBA you would think fans would not be this stupid. That was good of the Bruins coming out with an apology. And they wonder why more black players are not in the league with fans acting like that.

It's extra ignorant because the players brother is a goalie prospect for the Bruins, and Jarome Iginla is black who plays for the Bruins.

Seems like the greatest offender was a 12 year old kid. I think the issue was overblown here. It did not happen at the game. Some brave souls took to twitter to do it afterward. Twitter can be a cesspool, nothing new there. It was classy for the Bruins to apologize, but clearly they can't be held responsible for every so called fan that takes to Twitter.

Somehow down 3-1 in the series and having never beaten Pittsburgh in the playoffs this happened:

And on the Rangers move to the Eastern Conference Finals. Boys are on a roll for France St. Louis. Can't wait for 1 o'clock Saturday.

These playoffs have been awesome! So unpredictable. Plus side is I'm on my way to win one pool. Down side is I'm toast in another as the Bruins lost. lol

My pools were dead two weeks ago, but hoping for a Chi/NYR finals. High flying offence vs. tight checking and King Henry. Hopefully Chi gets it. No team in the league is more fun to watch.

Never been a Kings fan. Watching some of their regular season games, they are sure boring as heck to watch, but come playoff time they change tune and are awesome to watch.

As a Ranger fan I have no desire to pick my poison. I only hope that come Wed. morning the Kings and the Hawks will still be tied 1-1 headed into their 40th overtime.

Bingo.

Good job by the Kings. Not a total domination, but more like semi-domination. Personally, I don't think the Rangers deserved to go this far in the playoffs as they relied on King Henrik a lot. They didn't score that much and Lundqvist's godly play carried them. They ran into an equally good goalie and their mediocre offense showed.

Not really a hockey fan, but watched the 2 OTs of the final game because I was waiting for the Tonight Show to come on. Have to say, that was an exciting game.

The Kings had a rough road to the Cup, and then they met the Rangers. That series could have gone either way, imo. They were THAT close, despite the final tally being 4 games to 1.

All in all, what a heck of a run for the Kings. I'm glad I got to be there for the better part of the year.
