Also, every time I went to research 'Tanker Truck' on YouTube, the first suggested search word after that is 'Explosion'. :meh:

Yeah I don't think I want to haul Fuel or Oil.

Does it ever hit you that professional athletes make a ridiculous amount of money? More money in their short careers then most of us will make in a lifetime. Then a few years after retirement a ridiculous amount of them are bankrupt. Then they have to get real jobs and you feel everything is right with the world.

I love it. The company I work for it’s good pay, a lot of overtime, full benefits, paid holidays, two weeks vacation, and discounts on products the company sales.

The guy at my first customer seems to have an easy job and after he does the billing for loads, he smiles and gives me the big stack of trailer moves that go with them.

Lately, he keeps dumping tons of work on me moving trailers in the yard and I have to fight down this truck driver impulse to swear and flip him off in the office.

I heard its a common trend in Football (the USA version). Its however less so in Football (the rest of the world plays), at least not in Europe. I don't have the reasons, but I was surprise when I heard about the problems with Football players (US).Maybe these athetes should have some education on finaicial control & after career planning.

I think some Athletes feel the need to Self-Promote partly by living big including huge mansions. They might think this helps them to network or keep media visibility; perhaps with the future idea this grooms them to be sports commentators. In a few cases, it probably even works out this way, but for those who it doesn't work out for their screwed.

EDIT: Some might think they can be actors or pull off a second career like Dwayne Johnson.

Still have to work tonight. Lame.

One sort of neat thing though is my job site is on the river across Marinette Marine where they build Navy Battleships. I guess its cool to drive by that with the fireworks overhead.

At least I only have 7 trailers to move.

Strangely, I hear The Rock wants to remake that movie which I think is a terrible idea. Not just for any cultural reason.

I really think if Dwayne Johnson wants to reboot any John Carpenter film, he would be far better suited to THEY LIVE.

ESPN's 30 for 30 did a good episode on this. I think the episode was called "Going Broke". I think it affects black players more because, besides feeling the need to flaunt their success, they are more likely to come from poor backgrounds which includes friends and family who have a tendency to want to get in on the player's success. It's hard for a lot of players to not feel guilty or or be guilt tripped into leaving family and friends behind financially. Also, as said above, financial illiteracy plagues a lot of players. Especially concerning Uncle Sam.

I suck at cooking. I wasted half a big tube of hamburger meat because I can’t grill or cook worth a s***.

I didn't know hamburger even came in tubes.

Do they also sell steak in tubes? I've heard of that before.

Well first I grilled hamburgers on my gas grill and had so much flare up that the flames burned the outside of the burgers while the inside was pink.

Then I tried to make taco meat but didn't have the seasoning. So I used too much salt and about poisened myself.

I don't have a grill (except a George Foreman) so I won't judge your grilling skills. I would probably fail spectacularly as well.

I love to grill I do it at least one day every weekend. We had a few friends over last night so I grilled some burgers and sausage. My wife’s sister made up these bacon wrapped peppers with ground sausage and shredded cheese inside them and then grilled thosefor about 45 minutes, they tasted amazing!
