Don't expect much better from the other versions
the game has fail written all over it.
Ultimate Warrior vs Stone Cold. I really like the lighting during the warriors entrance, looks MUCH better than last gen. Keep in mind the game is 1080p 60 fps on both new gen consoles but these videos aren't any higher than 720p and fairly low quality at that.

Really hoped the new Publisher would come and fix things but its seems they are willing to just stick with more of the same.
The Verdict
WWE 2K15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One doesn't quite meet the expectations set by previous entries in the series. While the wrestlers look amazing and the combat feels significantly better, MyCareer mode is an absolute slog and everything else has been done better in previous years. Between the narrower historical mode, the shuttered creation suites, and the dearth of combat options for bigger groups, WWE 2K15 has lost some of the tools that brought previous entries to the main event.

Bit of a surprise that the PS4 version only supports 4 player while the Xbox One version supports 6.
Hmm that's a biggie imo..
Haven't picked up the game yet.. am getting my son the Xbox One version now.

Almost every hit (except punches and kicks) did around 1/3 damage to your life bar. I did similar tactics as the video where I'd finish someone off with a drop kick doing around 50% damage.

I seem to remember reading Yukes did not make the Next gen version but made the PS3 and 360 one. am I wrong?
The only wrestler I can actually recognize there is Wahoo McDaniels. Although it looks like it's really just a bunch of templates with hats put on everybody. I think there was even a wizard hat in there.
I haven't played it, but it'd be hard to top last years 30 years of Wrestlemania. Honestly, I think the game plays pretty well. I'm definitely not in the camp of it being a s*** series.

Several wrestling fans have sent in word that WWE 2K15 has been banning users from online play after uploading images of Chris Benoit to community creations. The next-generation version of the game has a feature that lets fans use photos to map faces on custom characters, and apparently some have been using it to create their own versions of the former Heavyweight Champion.

Really? Banning Chris Benoit on the game? He's not even banned on the Network anymore.
How do you figure? What other wrestling game series is there? Oh yeah, none. So on that note alone the Smackdown vs. Raw/WWE 2k series is pretty good. There's nothing wrong with the games, you either like them or you don't. For people comparing recent games to Here Comes the Pain. Come on.. let it go. We could say the same about any franchise not living up to the past.
Series is terrible compared to series of the past. So I don't play it...I do play the Fire Pro Wrestling series and the classic GC Day of Reckoning games on the Wii.
Some people eat whatever they are fed...some people have selective taste.
