Yesterday I envisioned a side scrolling version of Titanfall in the vein of Metal Slug. Doing an image search revealed something uncanny. This is a screenshot from Metal Slug XX:

Makes sense why Titans are built. Kinda weird if it's people on people, but perhaps the IMC are a corporation that wanna keep the monsters alive for studies, etc...but the Militia want to kill them.

Aliens the movie, straight up sci fi story right there.

I guess, but that seems like an awful lot of creature designs to at least not feature in far off background. I like what I heard someone else say, it'd be awesome if there was a way to provoke one of those creatures and just have them come into the battle. Destroy anything and everything they see until it dies. Kinda like a Big Daddy from Bioshock.

To be honest, it would make sense for one of the bigger creatures to feature given that we have Titan suits and all( go all pacific rim). That Primate looking one looks like it could give a titan a decent battle. I'm sure we will see some in the game, but if they're only background noise then it is pretty disappointing.

I got #17 a few times. It put a big ol smile on my face every time. One hit kill on pilots and grunts. They explode in a hail of blood and guts.
