Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

Bugger i didn't have this problem last gen and i did a lot of fast travelling. Must be tied to the next gen/PS4 versions.

This "remaster" was buggy and bum-rushed as all hell. Avoid it like Chewbacca's diapers.

You should have got the definitive Xbox One version. No bugs in sight.

nah the same issue an happen on there too. Whats funny is the game also crashes on one spot and seems to do that to everyone did it to me. So it's pretty easy bugs to make happen they need to fix that s***.

I'm to the point I don't want to f***ing support this s*** any more it's getting way out of hand all the broken and buggy games.

I've only had one crash on the PS4 version in that shantytown. It's given me fewer issues than any other PS4 or X1 game so far.

I played through it twice and don't remember any problems, I guess I was lucky.

Its important to have miliple save file, & also why I hate game that only allow one save file (why, why?), or worst those iwth autosave & one save file, with all the bugs & crush issues.

That's across 5 platforms, but still, a nice number. I hope Squeenix is satisfied.

"Square Enix has announced that the Tomb Raider reboot originally released in 2013 has claimed a third franchise record. The title already sold more on its first day and in its first month than any other game in the series. Now it owns the top sales spot overall, too."

"This morning, the publisher shared that 8.5 million copies of the reboot have been sold across all five of the platforms it was released on. The title originally launched in 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. A “definitive edition” arrived on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in early 2014."

Sold more than any other Tomb Raider. Gotta love that. Looking forward to the next installment this holiday.

That will not happen with the next one seeing as it is limited to one platform. At least I don't think so but you never know.

Well deserved. Recently I was one of these purchases.

I hope the new Lara Croft game is less "Lara-vs-mercs" and more "giant boulders and hunger sharks." Lara Croft games have always been more about the exploration and dangerous adventuring in isolation from human kind. The 2013 reboot was just too actiony for my tastes. I still loved the game, but I don't think Tomb Raider should have to emulate Uncharted to be great.

I love action games and killing tons of fools, but I gotta say even I agree with Kassen. TR2013 was a non-stop kill-fest. It'd be great to have a bigger focus on threats from the world itself, rather than just enemies. I read they're gating areas with animals in some cases, which is a good start. Natural danger could be pretty cool if executed properly...
